Coast to Coast Am is a national middle of the night syndicated talk show ; you may find them online as well! You'll love their website because it is full of news concerning the supernatural and Ufos!!

I wish I could go searching at night, but I have to be at home because of my son.
However - What I witnessed last night, while driving back to Bristol from Winsted, was the most incredible UFO sighting I've had to date. At approximately 11pm I was traveling South on Terryville Ave (towards Bristol) when I saw orange lights in the sky. They were hidden behind trees and difficult to see, but I began to drive slowly to try and make out what they were. I reached a clearing which looked out onto a body of water - which I believe to be Bristol Reservoir #4 - and pulled over. I saw 5-7 large, fiery orange balls of light hovering (at about ten stories) above the water; they appeared to sway very lightly, side to side. there was also a much smaller red-ish/orange light that seemed either to be moving from one of the large orange lights to another, or descending from one of the large orange lights. It was difficult to tell. I watched for a moment, but soon felt a surge of fear as the lights stopped and then appeared to be moving closer towards me. Being alone in the car on a dark road in the middle of the woods with no other traffic or houses in sight, I was very scared, and immediately sped away.
I would encourage anyone looking for unusual craft to travel that road. It is in the same direction from my house as I most frequently see the unusual craft I mentioned before, traveling.
Very strange experience.

Back in 1999 my husband and I followed a light that seemed to be stationary in the western sky. We saw it from Wallingford, Ct. and followed it all the way to Southington. Im not even sure what enticed us to follow it.It started to move north toward Mt. Southington. At this point it was above us and was beginning to accelerate. We followed it for several miles. Then without warning it took off at warp speed. We looked at each other in complete disbelief. We tried to speed after it. Just as we approached Lake Compounce it appeared to our left up against the mountain. It looked the same as it had but then appeared to morph into something that looked like a giant bug with legs. We were stunned. Again it took off north at an amazing speed. We followed but assumed we had lost it. We came to the main road where ESPN is and turned toward Southington. We drove a bit when suddenly we saw what we thought was a low flying military plane. As it came closer we realized it was moving way too slow. We pulled into the parking lot of Patrick Baker Religious Supply and watched in amazement from outside the car. This giant object looked like an illuminated chandelier just floating overhead. We are fairly sure that this was the same object just taking on different appearances. We still wonder what the hell it was. In retrospect it almost seemed like a sighting just for us as we don't recall anyone else around watching this crazy spectacle. We watched as it headed back toward the Lake Compounce area. We stood there for some time until it vanished from our sight.. Amazing. Happy I witnessed this with someone else. Just earlier this evening we took a ride out toward the area and in conversation realized that we can't really account for periods of time.... Very scary experience... We still ask each other what the hell we saw.. It was not of this world. That's for sure. Wow

I live in Bristol over 20 years. I live in a neighborhood area where there is a lot of lighting.I was in the back of my yard in my home at the time and I look up in the ski and there it was a huge light over my next door neighbor house like it was spotting over or scanning something. When I proceeded to call my neighbor for her to see what I was Seen, that light as big as a school bus it just shoot up to the ski and just turn into a small red light then it disappear to the ski and just was gone in a blink of an eye. I know what I have seen. I had another close encounter in THOMASTON CT. I was at my work place. My nurse and I we experienced this closed encounter.

I live in wolcott, on bristol line, next to wilis rd. I've seen the lights appear, disappear, then reappear in a diff location, or go really slow then speed up like crazy. I've seen them at home on on RT 69, towards Bristol. I figured I was imagining it.. I think I'd rather have imagined it.. I so don't like the thought of aliens.

Just stumbled on this site. Over the past month or so I have seen some strange things in Bristol ct. The first was in late April when I witnessed a bright white light falling towards the lake compounce area at high speed. I was driving up from rt 10 toward west street when I witnessed it. My first reaction was it was a shooting star and I was sure due to the speed and the size it would cause a explosion once it hit. Nothing happened but I felt unnerved and called my wife who was driving ahead of me but did not see it . The second strange thing was a few weeks after I was driving on west street toward the pine street intersection in rush hour traffic when I witnessed what looked like a parachut or 4 parachutes with a object at the base. I slowed but traffic was heavy and I lost sight of it since we had heavy cloud cover that day. I spoke to a family friend who is a police officer in Bristol asking if there have been any parachut accidents recently and he said no. Both were definitely strange.

We were watching the fireworks tonight at lake compounce and right when the show started an orange object appeared...I first thought it was a plane but then questioned that because it wasnt moving at all. It appeared to have something "hanging" off the bottom of it and didnt have any flashing lights like a plane..when the fireworks got going more, it began to move...kind of toward the beach and several others behind us said "whoa look at the ufo"....and then it slowly appeared to dart upwards and then disappeared..very very weird... I know the difference between planes, stars and planets but this was truely odd..anyone else see it?
