the illegals, the Catholics.
The white straight protestant male is the biggest victim in society today. We have nobody to turn to for protection. The minorities cry racism, the gays cry hate, the Catholics run to the pope, the females cry sexual harrassment, the poor cry their being held down. It's getting out of control.

now if you notice here,, the wave of violence that came after the vigil..

Part 1 of 2
A wave of violence engulfs the transgendered, whose murder rate may outpace that of all other hate killings
http://www.splcenter.org/intel/intelreport/ar...
-

It's a tough place to grow up, especially when you're different. Especially when you're convinced that you're a girl with a boy's anatomy. Especially when the other kids taunt you and throw bricks at you and you have to quit school because you can't stand it anymore.
Especially when you're determined to live openly as a transgendered woman, considered by many the lowest of the low.
Stephanie Thomas could have told you all about it. Until last Aug. 12.
-
Around 11:30 p.m. the night of the 11th, 19-year-old Thomas and her best pal, 18-year-old Ukea Davis, reportedly told friends they were going to a nearby gas station for cigarettes.
By the time rescue workers reached the bloody car, she was. Like her friend's, Thomas' body had been pumped full of bullets — at least 10 apiece.
-
Washington knew early on that protecting her youngest kid, whose name was Wilbur when she adopted him at three months, wouldn't be easy.
"He was a beautiful child, always very dainty, always very feminine. In first grade, a teacher — a teacher, mind you!— called him gay. I had to immediately go up to the school and get her straight. He came home that day and my neighbor told him gay meant happy. We looked it up in the dictionary.'See?' I said.'It's true!'"
-
Washington, who has stubbornly refused to abandon her neighborhood because "kids here need someone to love them, need to see people who are trying to be about something with their lives," became a kind of surrogate mom to Davis, whose own folks were not so accepting. But it wasn't easy for her, either.
"It's hard for a mother," Washington says, thumbing through a scrapbook she's assembled in memory of her son-turned-daughter. The pictures show Wilbur on the beach during family vacations; Wilbur clowning with his cousins; Wilbur in his early teens, grim-faced and downcast.
"That's the last picture of him as a boy," his mother says, "before he became who he was." By contrast, she flips to a photo of Stephanie at 18, bear-hugging her mom. "Look at that smile!" she says. "He was a happy person — after he came out. You see? He didn't have those sad eyes no more."
The only thing that would have been worse than the brutal murders, Washington says, would have been never seeing that smile. "At least he had a chance to be who he was," she says. "I told him, God don't make no mistakes. I know you didn't make yourself. Who would make up a life like this? Who would be something the world hates?"

This Aug. 12, on the first anniversary of their deaths, there was another vigil for Davis and Thomas.
By now the sadness had hardened into bitterness — over the lack of an arrest in the case, over police officials' reluctance to classify the murder as a hate crime, and over the continued violence that had claimed another transgendered victim, Kim Mimi Young, in April. The mayor came again, along with the chief of police. Frustrations were vented. Promises were made.
And then all hell broke loose.
Early on the morning of Aug. 16, four days after the vigil, one of the District's best-known transgender nightclub performers, 25-year-old Latina immigrant Bella Evangelista, was shot and killed by a man who had paid her for sex. Police arrested 22-year-old Antoine D. Jacobs as he pedaled away from the scene on a bicycle, charging him with first-degree murder and later with a hate crime.
Four nights later, shortly after a vigil was held for Evangelista, police found the dead body of Emonie Kiera Spaulding. The 25-year-old transgendered woman had been brutally beaten, shot, and dumped nude in a stand of scraggly, trash-strewn woods bordering Malcolm x Avenue. Her clothes were found a day later in a nearby Dumpster.
Another 22-year-old, Antwan D. Lewis, was arrested a few days later and charged with second-degree murder — but not, so far, with a hate crime.
The same night Spaulding's body was found, another transgendered woman, Dee Andre, survived a shooting near the U.S. Capitol. Alarmed transgender activists convened a series of community meetings, hoping to calm nerves and band together against the violence.
Instead, the meetings only added to the sense that D.C.'s transgender community was in a state of emergency: "We heard of at least 14 other assaults happening that same week," says Jessica Xavier, a local activist and volunteer coordinator.
-
We're scared," says Mara Kiesling, executive director of the Washington-based National Center for Transgender Equality. "This spree of violence made us feel more vulnerable than we deserve to feel. I'm sure it's increased the hopelessness for a lot of people. When you start hearing about 18 events in a week, you don't know what to do."
But if they aren't sure what to do, folks in Washington's transgender community certainly know what to think. "What we're seeing is a war against transgendered women," says Xavier. "And it's not only here — it's happening everywhere in this country."

Yes, it IS a hate crime. Hate crime laws use the word 'race' not 'blacks', his race was white. Hate crime laws use the word'gender'not female, therefore a white man could be the target of a group of "Feminazis" who go on a rampage pissed at all the sexism they see. This too would be a hate crime.

3. By the same logic - a woman in men's pants and a blazer would increase her chance of being attacked. But it doesn't. Why?
4. Are women in men's clothing any different than a man in women's?
1. Wear whatever you want to.
2. Rick from Billerica made some excellent points. It's the world we live in.
3. I'll assume that's a serious question. Men don't usually attack women.
4. Men and women will always be different, doesn't matter what they wear.

Willie Houston, 38
Nashville, Tenn.
Life was looking good for Willie Houston. A bus driver for special-needs customers of Metro Transit in Nashville, Tenn., the 38-year-old celebrated his engagement to Nedra Jones on July 29 with a midnight cruise down the Mississippi.

After the boat docked, Jones asked Houston to hold her purse while she went to the rest room. Then a friend, who is blind, asked Houston to accompany him to the men's room.

A purse on one arm and a male friend on the other, Houston ran into Lewis Maynard Davidson III, a 25-year-old with a lengthy arrest record. Davidson allegedly taunted Houston with anti-gay slurs, then followed him out of the rest room.

Jones told a local newspaper that Houston remained calm, refusing to rise to the bait. "Not one harsh word did he say to him," she said, "because that's not Willie."

But Davidson kept harassing Houston as they walked toward the parking lot. According to Jones, Davidson said, "I've got something for you in my car" and went off across the lot.

As Jones and Houston said goodbye to their blind friend and another friend, Jones said they heard Davidson's voice again: "Now what you got to say?" he said, pointing a gun at Houston.

Houston held up his hands, according to Jones, and tried to reason with his assailant. "Man, we had a good time, and I'm just ready to go home and go to bed." Davidson allegedly fired anyway, hitting Houston in the chest.

Two months after the shooting, Davidson was allegedly caught with crack cocaine in Ohio. At press time, Tennessee officials were awaiting his extradition.

Under Tennessee's hate-crime law, sentences can be enhanced when a crime is committed because of the victim's real or perceived sexual identity. Prosecutors were "considering" whether to invoke the law.

NEW YORK — The brother of an Ecuadorean immigrant beaten to death in an apparent hate crime asked his neighbors Sunday for help finding the killers, saying he and his family were heartbroken.
Jose Sucuzhanay, a 31-year-old real estate broker, was accosted on a Brooklyn street by men who yelled anti-Hispanic and anti-gay slurs at him and his brother, Rommel, early Dec. 7, according to police. The two were walking arm in arm after attending a church party and then stopping at a bar.

Rommel Sucuzhanay was able to get away and call police, but Jose Sucuzhanay was attacked by three men who smashed a beer bottle over his head, hit him in the head with an aluminum baseball bat and kicked him, police said.

Bus rider killed in hate crime attack
Man with pipe asked 72-year-old victim if he was gay

by Anthony Glassman

Detroit--A brutal attack on an elderly gay man has left the victim dead and the community shaken.

Andrew Anthos, 72, was returning from the public library on a city bus on February 13 when another passenger asked if he was gay. Anthos answered yes, and the man continued to harass him for the rest of the ride.

When Anthos got off the bus, the other passenger followed him and hit him in the head with a metal pipe in front of Anthos’ apartment.

Paralyzed from the neck down, Anthos was able to tell police what happened before he fell into a coma in the hospital. He succumbed to his injuries on February 23.

Anthos, whose family confirmed that he was gay, often traveled to the state capital of Lansing to press for the capitol dome to be lit in red, white and blue for one night a year as a tribute to servicemembers and police officers.

sorry if I was annoying you,, I was getting at a point. I thought by giving a few examples so we would know what type of violence we re dealing with here, might help us to figure out why it happens, and then come up with some solutions. The motives behind these particular crimes are different from someone who kills someone in a car jacking, robbery, dispute that leads to a fight, murder of a relative while attempting to gain financial benefits, ect ect.
-
As in many of the transgender murders i sited, they were stabbed and shot multiple times, often strangled and sometimes sexually mutilated. Again is many ways related to crimes of passion. one factor in all of them is thoughts about a persons sexuality.

Hate violence. Transgender people are often targeted for hate violence based on their non-conformity with gender norms and/or their perceived sexual orientation. Hate crimes against transgender people tend to be particularly violent. For example, one expert estimates that transgender individuals living in America today have a one in 12 chance of being murdered.[1] In contrast, the average person has about a one in 18,000 chance of being murdered.[2]
