If they're post op and meet all the other requirements, then why not?

I think the armed forces should make it clear joining the armed forces will not be a way to get gender reassignment surgery paid for. Otherwise pre ops will sign up and "suddenly" realize they identify as the other gender.

I agree with you for t hose individuals who aren't ALREADY enlisted but for those that are already serving I think the Military should pay for surgery and allow them to continue to serve.

Pay for your own surgery, it's your problem. Anyone who can't decide if they're a man or a woman has problems. You don't give a gun to confused individuals.

The US Government should not pay for cosmetic surgery, except to repair damage incurred while in service to the USA.

People inclined to mutilate themselves belong in psychiatric care, not military service. Most of the mutilators end up regretting their self-destruction and display additional psychiatric maladies. This is all a continued assault on the discipline and sense of honor in our military by the Leftists in America, who use any and all deviance and maladjustment to keep our soldiers divided and confused.

It's unclear whether you are talking about grandfathering only those who are in the armed forces as of 3/2014, or whether you mean for all time that if an armed forces person realizes _after_ enlisting that they should be covered.

I don't agree with the latter. The absence from duty during the process alone would make the whole thing dicey.

That's rich coming from tee baggrz, racist, misogynistic, homophobic trash like you.

You fundies and whatnot have dished it out for years. Now you get a taste and suddenly you start whining about invective or about intolerance. The truth is that educated society increasingly regards people like you as trash.

This is only a starter for you queers. Soon, you'll be proclaiming people with penises sewn dangling to their foreheads should be allowed in military service.

Contrary to your assertion 99% of all people undergoing GRS Gender Reassignment Surgery are completely happy with the results and go on to lead happy lives.

I mean grandfather ONLY those on active duty at the time the law is signed.

Speaking of psychiatric care, Troutsky, you need to stop calling your nurse Lady Godiva.
