Yeah great, a website to teach queer youth how to mooch off the gov't, get free handouts and special privileges and how to get people charged with hate crimes and sue people who disagree with the gay lifestyle.

Our latest win was $60,000 plus court costs and attorney fees

A Texas couple has won a $14million dollar judgment after unmasking an internet troll who was defaming them by calling them amongst other things, child molesters, drug pushers and sexual deviants on a Topix.com message board. From The Daily Mail:
Yes, at the very outset, even before you know if you can get a judgment from the defendant, you need to go to court to find out who the defendant is, and going to court can get expensive. This is why I only take these types of cases when I am paid at least something up front.

The attorney files a lawsuit with an unnamed “John Doe” defendant. It is then up to the attorney to find out who the defendant is, and often times there is only a window of opportunity to do so. The attorney can get a court order to compel the domain name registrar, or the third party source to reveal the name of the party. However, you now have jurisdictional issues if say, the case is filed in Oklahoma, and the third party registrar is in, say Arizona.

If the anonymous source is merely an IP address it can get even harder. The lawyer then has to hire a computer forensics expert to search for the defendant, and that too can get very costly. By the way, the cost for the forensic expert would need to be paid upfront as well.

This is pretty much why it is difficult to see this sort of case to then end. It can be very difficult and very expensive. But if you can get a $14million judgment out of it, more power to you!

It's only expensive if the IT person chooses to milk it for all it's worth. It's actually quite easy. What's expensive is the PI who does the legwork at the other end. They are very greedy. You can cut those costs by using a skip tracer.

I know, it's shocking
people wanting to marry without becoming criminals, have their job applications treated on merit not sexual orientation or gender, be able to take part in civic society without doubts about their mental health... whatever next hay?
*holds up sarcasm sign again*

Back on topic, this website sounds like a great idea,
pity really tho it's needed in a modern semi-enlightened society

"Thirty-one states allow all qualified citizens to carry concealed weapons. In those states, homosexuals should embark on organized efforts to become comfortable with guns, learn to use them safely and carry them. They should set up Pink Pistols task forces, sponsor shooting courses and help homosexuals get licensed to carry. And they should do it in a way that gets as much publicity as possible. "

--Jonathan Rauch, Salon Magazine, March 13, 2000

We did. There are now over 45 Pink Pistols chapters nationwide, and more are starting up every day. We are dedicated to the legal, safe, and responsible use of firearms for self-defense of the sexual-minority community. We no longer believe it is the right of those who hate and fear gay, lesbian, bi, trans, or polyamorous persons to use us as targets for their rage. Self-defense is our RIGHT.

The Pink Pistols get together at least once a month at local firing ranges to practice shooting, and to acquaint people new to firearms with them. We will help you select a firearm, acquire a permit, and receive proper training in its safe and legal use for self-defense. The more people know that members of our community may be armed, the less likely they will be to single us out for attack. Join us today. It is your RIGHT.

Justice Antonin Scalia has said that when he was a kid going to school in New York, he regularly openly carried a rifle on the subway to school and openly carried it at school (He was on the Rifle Team, he said).

WOW ! Are YOU ignorant ! The Second Amendment states: "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

NOWHERE does it say that firearms are EXCLUSIVE for a state's militia.

The RIGHT to keep and bear arms is an INDIVIDUAL'S RIGHT, just like the Rights specified in the Bill Of Rights are RIGHTS OF THE INDIVIDUAL PERSON, protected by the U.S. Constitution.

And SCOTUS ruled in District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008), that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to possess a firearm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense.

AND in McDonald v. Chicago (2010), SCOTUS once AGAIN ruled that the Second Amendment protects an individual RIGHT to keep and bear arms for self-defense.

The RIGHT to keep and bear arms is a RIGHT OF THE INDIVIDUAL, NOT just a militia.

Nowhere does it specify that "arms" means ONLY firearms.

UV-dye Pepperspray when properly carried and used is all that's NEEDED in most situations.

Shall I explain it to you with a wrecking-ball, "foxy", or could words be all that's NEEDED to convey my point?

That's true. You have the right to bear other arms as well, such as a knife, sword, machete, mace, landmine, etc.
