The last I heard, trans-folks who are also gay will also benefit from these gains, and I believe that you would be included in ENDA, thank goodness. No more of this throwing the T's in GLBT under the bus.

While the House Repubs will sink it this time, it has more support than ever. It's only a matter of time, and I think this one is vital for every letter in GLBT or TGLB, especially the T. It seems like every time you hear about someone transitioning as an adult, you also hear about them getting fired.

15 states with marriage equality, including 3 of the top 5 most populous states.

Up next- Hawaii & New Mexico; then Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, & Arizona.

Don't think I'm hostile to everyone having their "Rights", I'm not! What I don't like is the building of a political party with a bunch of totally non-political people. These people, flushed with success, will have a certain power and will use it to unintentionally destroy this country. I really wish that the Republicans would just recognize
the need for this legislation and not oppose it and not give this "movement" a chance to grow.

Hawaii & New Mexico will put us over 1/3rd of the states with marriage equality covering over 1/3rd of the total population.

Add in the 9 remaining states realistically possible by 2016- OR, AZ, NV, ID, MT, AK, CO, MI, & OH- and that puts us at 50% of the states with 50% of the population.

After that it's up to the SCOTUS.

More Free? You are more free maybe, and Ten percent of the people are more free. But what about the other ninety percent? Do they get to exercise their freedoms to act freely in any way they choose? Do the statists in government consider this a victory because they've piled another law on the backs of the American people? Just some points to ponder! I realize you are too self centric to think of these points on your own.

Yeah, but what did it take to beat him (Cuccinelli)? A massive campaign by national figures! Btw, what happened in NJ? Christie cleaned Buono's clock by taking 60% of the vote of one of this country's bluest states. Ahh Life is good!!
My president was elected by dead people!

I don't think that Arizona is realistic in the foreseeable future.

Then they, and straight supporters will have to fight the repeal action and bigotry for the next few decades, from the religious right, just as black people had to, and continue to do.

We get AZ only if/when the 9th circuit rules on the Nevada case next year. That also gets us MT, ID, AK, OR, & obviously NV.

I thought you were figuring on a state by state basis. THAT aint gonna happen.

I hope federal courts rule in our favor.

He's OK!BUT I don't some of his positions. His brand of "Republicanism" will fly in NJ, But it will never fly in the rest of the country. But the real crime is that the Minimum wage thing passed! That'll kill NJ! I'm glad I moved out of NJ three years ago.
BTW, I love your new Avatar. Carmen Miranda was a great character actress.

Besides eating too many doughnuts, NJ has the second highest tax burden in the country. Only CT is worse. They rank 41st in unemployment, 1 is lowest rate, 50 is highest.

I take all things into consideration.

Hawaii & New Mexico in 2013, followed by the remaining 9th circuit states in 2014.

Then most likely we wait until 2016 for either another circuit court ruling or referendum/initiative votes in CO, MI, & OH.

We likely max out at about 25 states until the SCOTUS acts.
