You don't need a religion to have a marriage.

Of course, they won't create "equal marriage." It is impossible. The only way that "gay marriage" could be equal would be to turn one of the participants into someone of the opposite gender. This is not the fault of government. It is simply an impossible task. State Senator Kevin Lundberg in Colorado said it best: "The principles of marriage and the family are so much bigger than Colorado's laws that we are no more capable of actually redefining this timeless institution than we are of changing the laws of gravity."

Please note the source of the poll used for this news item -- it was an anti-gay group asking the questions.

So it's no wonder the poll concludes that LBGT people want to force same-sex marriage on all religions!

I don't know any LGBT people who care about forcing all religions to accept us. The fight is for LEGAL equality and the churches can do whatever the hell they want.

The gay community wants equal treatment involving the legal rights that all other married couples have. My partner and myself have lived a faithful life for 14 years. Family has not been destroyed, grandkids love my partner. We are active in our church and communty. We do not believe in forcing the church to provide a ceremony, that is not needed to hold us to our vowes. Ido not understand the redneck attitudes that continue. We are both educated and have doctorates...I hope the court will support this move for legalization to protect families of equally loving partners, children, and grandchildren.

Please keep responses to my comments appropriate and not hateful.

Well said and 100% spot on!
OK, LUIGI, BORIS, SWEN, FRANZ. Your posts remind me of "It's a Small World" ride at Disneyland and Disneyworld. You hop in a boat and ride through all the countries of the world, while blank eyed robots sing a boring song to you over and over and over. Pretty much sums you up.

Your post is touching and sincere and appropriate, but your asking for respect from junk yard dogs is not going to end well, I am afraid.

PLEASE stop spamming the boards. Have mommy put a password on the computer so little ones like YOU can't ruin it. Then, climb into your footie pj's for a nap in your crib.

May we remind Kevin Lundberg that the laws of gravity as we know them are indeed changed at the other end of a black hole? Maybe he should brush up on facts before making public statements and posing as a sage.. "Timeless institution.."? No such phenomenon.. Big words meaning nothing, as usual..

take your anti semitic thoughts to your own private place and leave me alone. I want to know why THIS Jewish guy is NOT part of the money train that you seem to eaten up with envy over. maybe it's because my dad was Chriztian, as if he cared.
