That must be why these companies spend millions advertising.
There isn't a day that passes when someone isn't trying to sell you something.
And that's a good thing. Unless you want the economy to grind to a halt as The Obamaniac does, so he can socialize everything in the U.S.

EVERY TIME this nitwit makes an address, he says somewhere in his speech: "Just because socialism failed in the Soviet Union doesn't mean it can't work here !:)"

He made no mistake. If you want to appeal to mainstream America you don't put gay couples in your commercials. If you want to market to 6% or 8% of America then make your ads gay. Ellen did less than nothing for JCP.
You just made the same mistake that Guido Barilla made. You're assuming that only gay people will respond positively to gay friendly advertising and that all straight people will respond negatively to it.

That's just simply not true. Most of the outrage I'm seeing on Facebook and on personal blogs is coming from straight people--our friends and families that love us and care about us and don't want to see us harmed. After all, they outnumber us exponentially and they WANT to see images of the people they love in popular advertising. It makes them feel good, too.

But then, you wouldn't understand anything about that, would you?

You make it sound like you're talking about a dog. Yeah I bet your family is so proud that their son su:cks d!ck. Bet they're about to explode with joy.
A dog? Your family only loves dogs? Not each other? And you call US strange....

And, you know, I've never actually thought about whether or not my family is proud that I'm gay. Based on how they treat my siblings and me, I'm guessing they've never thought anything about it, either.

Yet her show is constantly at the top of the ratings. Why aren't you boycotting that? It's because you, like the Million Moose, only boycott things you know are unpopular. Like if you tried to boycott Cheetos, you'd be hooted out of the building. I note the Disney boycott was scrapped, for they knew it was pointless and made them look foolish, tilting at windmills, so to speak.

But boycott a store that was dying anyway, or boycott a TV show that blows and you are GUARANTEED "victory" no matter how hollow that victory is, proving nothing.
