What a radical contrast the advanced society of New York presents to the deep south where people still struggle privately with civil war era issues

NYC has 35,000 cops and some of the highest crime rates in the US. Advanced society?

NYC is very safe per capita amongst the largest cities, particularly for gun violence. It would be safer still if gun control laws were consistent from state to state...for reasons obvious to anyone but fundie and tee baggrz mouthbreaters.

Who are ignorant and sexually sick.

It would be better if the cops there didn't quite apparently wind up shooting and choking non threatening people "once in awhile," however.

1. Time for you to move?
2. Gun control laws? How many criminals apply for a license to carry? Register their guns?
Here's what criminals do. When police departments sponsor a gun buyback, criminals round up the junk, get $50 or more for each piece of crap they turn in then take the money and buy good weapons.

I always thought that the expression "he must have just fallen off the turnip wagon" was an insult. Then you came along.

Hey Generalissimo Franco, you not so mysteriously forgot to acknowledge the stupidity and ignorance of your remark about NYC.

Requiring licensing and title transfers and insurance for all car owners does not mean car thieves will get licensed, have a title to the care, have insurance. It makes things harder for people who wish to break the law by trafficking in stolen cars.

And virtually _no one_ thinks there should be no gun control laws. All I said was make them uniform...so backwards parts of the country can't undermine gun control laws in educated parts of the country by creating an easy flow of guns from lax gun control states to the other ones.

So that was the point. Which was and is too complex for you.

Wait until the cops everywhere are shooting and choking people. You'll really wish you had those guns then. At least I hope you would!
My president was elected by dead people!

NYC has 42 cops per 10,000 people, that's more than most cities. Only Chicago, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Newark and D.C have more.

It's a safe city for a large city. You lie and are ignorant.

I did not check this latest, unrelated reference to probably imaginary stats of yours. Because the claim is unrelated to your earlier ignorant statement.
