The French Parliament is going to pass the Law anyway.

Now if the marchers had numbered closer to a million or more, then it might have had some appreciable effect.

There will be SOME cringing and some nay votes from the provinces, but in almost every location there is strong sentiment against church overreaching.

French kids really learn their own history in school.

Irrational prejudice, no matter how popular, fails to provide a valid excuse for denial of equal treatment under the law.

did you guys see the huge slip in approval of gay marriage from the 60's down to just over 50% in less than a few months?

did either of you ever consider that happening here?

maybe you should...

when the justification is characters on tv shows, i wouldn't say you have a real good hook into your "support"...

in france:
"Public opposition spearheaded by religious leaders has chipped away at the popularity of Hollande's plan in recent months. About 52 per cent of French favour legalizing gay marriage, according to a survey released Sunday, down from as high as 65 per cent in August."

Ah. I just wanted to be sure.

The RCC has pulled together a coalition similar to the one they did in California for Prop h8.

Still, the polling numbers in France are very soft.

The only numbers that DO matter are the MPs.

The petri dish and culture that is perversion continues to stain, subvert, corrupt, and lower the principles of morality into further decadence.
Regressive liberalism must be reined in and isolated.

While there are various explanations of natural law, one of the tenets that appears throughout the various versions, is the ethic of reciprocity and equality. That "no man require to reserve to himself any right, which he is not content should be reserved to every one of the rest".

Natural law requires equal treatment under the law as promised in our founding documents and required by our constitution.

"My young son asked me what happens after we die. I told him we get buried under a bunch of dirt and worms eat our bodies. I guess I should have told him the truth - that most of us go to Hell and burn eternally - but I didn't want to upset him.” Jack Handy
