Another job for teachers because the parents won't do it. As a retired teacher with 34 years in my belt, I've seen totally involved parents and others who couldn't be bothered to even make breakfast. Where else can these kids turn??? So we feed them and try to teach them not only academics, but morality, kindness, responsibility, perseverance,....but who will if we don't???

Sweetheart, the Department of Education disagrees. I guess it's a good thing for GM and the children she's taught that you're a worthless nobody, isn't it?

Poor "abel". The world is changing, and you're stuck back in the past. Fortunately, when you die, your backwards, silly, ignorant ways will die with you.

Any chance that death will be soon?:-)

I am involved in my children's schooling that I can get blights like her removed. It is you that is the worthless nobody and you are simply attempting to deflect

Then tell me, who will teach these things to children who have no where else to learn them?

It is obvious that you have little respect for the parent's right to raise their children as they deem fit. You seem to believe you know what is best for everyone and your beliefs are the only ones that count

It IS part of her job. ALL students are entitled to a school that is safe, and free of violence and harasment.

Why do you oppose that ?

So if a student harassed and assaulted another student, because they were black or Jewish, because their parents raised them in a way that taught them that black people and Jewish people were "bad", you're saying that is their RIGHT because their parents have a right to teach them that ???

I disagree.

And I KNEW a white racist and PROUD KKK member personally when I was a junior and senior in high school. He was in 2 of my classes each year. He was a straight-A student, who probably would have been valedictorian had he attended the school a longer period of time.

I did not understand then, and do not understand now, how someone so smart can be so stupid at the same time. And he proudly said on many occassions that it was his father who introduced him to the KKK.

And what a shock. You act identically.

What you claim of her is a perfect description of your behavior.

Somehow, you're allowed to speak, but she isn't. Somehow, she shouldn't be bothering you and your family, yet the anti-gay are "allowed" to stick their snouts into the lives of gay people WHO NEVER ASKED THEM THEIR GODDAMN OPINION and say, "You are sinning!" YOU don't like it; you just told Gay Mom you DON'T want her advice when it comes to raising YOUR family.

Is it any shock that gay people DON'T want these ditch pigs telling them how to live THEIR lives? They're acting just like you, NOT wanting interference.

What a shock that you would react JUST like gay people react, not liking it. What a great hint that perhaps it's time for the anti-gay to shut their fucking mouths and leave gay people alone. Because when it's done to the anti-gay,*they don't like it either*. WOW. How revelatory.

Christ.

It is not her job to instill her idea of morality, kindness, or responsibility into children that are not her own

When you leave it up to the government to dictate morality to your children then there is nothing left as far as parental rights

Yes, it is.

You should not:

Harrass another person

Assault another person

Steal from another person

Lie about another person

Nor harm another person in any fashion

Why do you have a problem with that ? What would Jesus say ?

It absolutely is not. Your list is an attempt to simplify morality

So you're saying that a student has a RIGHT to :

Harrass another person

Assault another person

Steal from another person

Lie about another person

Nor harm another person in any fashion

???

I think most people would disagree with you.

Please explain WHY a student has the right to harrass and assault another student.

Would it be acceptable for a teacher to teach that gays are immoral and hated by god?

I helped home-schooling parent's find resources for 8 years, and ran a support group for them. That is what I think of parent's rights to raise their children. They are, however in the minority. All of my students got breakfast when they came in because they never got it at home. They also got free lunch. These were homes that has computers and cable tv and cell phones before I ever could afford them on my teachers salary.Again I say...who will help these children if we...who see them 6 to 7 hours 5 days a week... do nothing???
