Wellll, First off, The writer of the article makes a classic mistake which I thought we were done with, The writer refers to Ms Yandow as "He"! Give it up! That is so old and reflective of your prejudices.
Ms Yandow, Leave this person immediately! No one who won't at least stop when you have to relieve yourself is a friend!

WOW ! What a surprise more stellar behavior from a member of the transgender community and they wonder why transsexual don't want to be associated with them or forced under their stupid gender umbrella.

Yandow said he's "a transgender individual who has completed his sexual reassignment surgery, but has not updated his driver's licence information to reflect such," an affidavit states.

dont trans people have the right to act like anyone else?

YEAH I read that to but I don't believe it for a second heres why I've known several people who've gone through GRS surgery and believe you me the first thing they did after surgery was apply to get their birth certificate changed and change their drivers license, So I highly doubt this person has undergone GRS surgery despite what they said. Sure trans people have the right to act like everyone else but whens the last time you heard of a normal person beating someone with a golf club or showing their tits on an airplane to refusing to cover their tits on a public beach saying they don't have to because their men or showing their ass in public because someone called them a man ?

I was a little surprised about the ID thing too. I'm Preop and I have a corrected DL. Pa and NJ allow changing it Pre op. Other states, I don't know about. But looking at her "big Picture" she seems the been not too bright on more than one level.

Now as to my won birth certificate, i have not even changed my name on mine as i was born in one of the two states left that will not allow you to change or amend the sex on your certificate.
It is quite expensive to even change ones name as i now live in a different state so why do one if i cant change the other till the state changes the law?

Anna, I haven't changed n mine yet either. As you say. it's a expensive PITA. I thought I'd discovered a glitch in the law here in Pa, but since the Real ID law was enacted it's become more difficult. Possibly in Va where I have land.
However, I've been trying to get recognition of my idea the it's sex discrimination under the 14th amendment since women get to change their names just by saying "I DO". When a woman get married, she has a instant name change. And it's a surname, not a given name. Surnames are much harder to trace. Why can't we get one name change (given name) because of the correction of a medical problem?
