More silly hypocrisy .. The minute religion steps into any matter it invariably steps back , never forward .. Read Sir Richard Burton's ( the explorer and litterateur ) terminal essay to his translation of the Arabian Nights to learn the real truth about the sexual habits of most of the world .. Many laws , yes .. all broken with impunity .. For that's what we really are : a basically very primitive and devious bunch playing at grown-ups , and failing miserably .

No matter how much gay psycho-bable you try to throw at it the truth remains that NO decent society is going to condone or allow homosexuality.

Bigotry and its parents , Stupidity and Ignorance , are unacceptable in decent society . They are human tragedies and shouldn't be encouraged in ANY part of the world .

Well, at the same time, ya know -- it's best, I believe personally, and fairest to allow other nations their own freedom. If India -- and Australia, where a court case just did away with gay marriage -- want to behave like backward scumbuckets, that's their right.

What they *DO NOT* have the right to, and what they *WILL NOT* have the right to, is a pretense of nobility. If I see India and Australia behaving in this manner, I call them (generally speaking; I'm sure there are nice people in both nations) scumbuckets. And that's their right; they can be as filthy and amoral as they want.

But when they act like stupid, brainless dogs who knock over a room full of valuable crockery and then come wagging their tails as if they've done something "good," it's any good citizen's duty to refuse praise. It's of vital importance to tell them they f***ed up and are acting like they have shit in their heads.*shrug* Fair is fair.

Enlightenment comes from within. When the Indians see this folly for what it is they will claim the right to form the families of their choising. At that time they won't let theirmsekves be coerced into sham marriages that are arranged by their parents and they won't let divisions on account if race, ethnicity or religion get in their way. And once they claim these rights they will see that there is no principle allowing them but not the gays to enjoy those rights.

For those of us who were born and raised in a dar more advanced society - one that recognizes our rights this should serve as a reminder that no matter how far we have yet to go in claiming our birthrights we were lucky to be born and/or raised in a country at a time where the hard work of overturning the most egregious of civil right violations were overturned.

Gays can go to Kolkata "City of Sex" for pleasure. no one gonna stop you from having a sex there. In fact, sex is a major element of bengali culture. kolkata is a home of largest community of prostitutes in Asia.
In West Bengal best way to payback debt is to work as a prostitute.
The Chukri System is a debt bondage system found in West Bengal. Under this system a female can be coerced into prostitution in order to pay off debts. She generally works without pay for one year or longer in order to repay a supposed debt to the brothel owner for food, clothes, make-up, and living expenses.
The system creates a workforce of people virtually enslaved to their creditors, and constitutes one of the primary causes for women entering the sex trade. The system flourishes primarily in West Bengal.

You are very kind! Indeed, you're right: There is always a pretense from evil masquerading as good that it has "done the right thing." I feel so lucky to live in a world where many see that pretense for what it is -- nonsense.

If the above (extraordinarily prejudiced) statement is to be taken as anything but pig shit, what it says about the antigay is the ugliest possible statement. Gay and pro-gay people don't flood boards with hysterical, Nazi-level hatred and even verbal violence when they "don't get their way." On topix, this nanosecond, is an article about a Russian actor who,*literally* like a Nazi of Hitler's era, wants all gays burned to death.

The comparisons of the antigay to Nazis and worse *will* continue, end of discussion.

90% of the world is lactose intolerant and will not tolerate dairy abusers. 90% of the world is between 5'4'' and 6'5'' in height and will not tolerate little people and giants. 90% of the world is brunette and will not tolerate dumb blondes and evil redheads.

Does that make sense to you? Neither does your comment, asshole. May 100 angry rabbits torture you to death.

This is instantly identifiable as trolling, as mendacity, and as prejudiced nonsense.

The stunning part is,*you know you're lying* which is the primary reason it's called "trolling."

DADT ended, DOMA shot down, sixteen states with marriage equality = incredibly and literally, you *know full well* you're lying.

They're trolling. They *know* they're lying. They need only look at reality to see that anyone can identify what they say as hatred mixed with wishful thinking.

You are jaw-droppingly admirable to continue tirelessly to fight this. When I went from thinking these people were literally stupid -- literally!-- to realizing that they are *deliberately trolling*, I had no further patience for these boards. I'm rarely here now; their antigay comments are changing nothing about the slow but steady march toward equality. Literally nothing.

In the face of "universal hatred," sixteen U.S. states have begun recognizing marriage equality.
