This guy looks like a cross dresser not a transgender. He obviously passed on the female hormone treatments. Why didn't they pick Miss Universe Canada if they wanted a poster child?

Why is it so difficult to watch? I'm a Transexual too and I understand it's a medical problem that les than 1% of the population suffers with. While I Don't like mixing politics with religion, I fully support her right to go to a church. It's the political message I don't like. Please bear in mind the Ms Covington is (Like most of us) a "work in progress". One day she will correct her voice to where it is more appropriate to her presentation. Until then, let's give her some slack. She, Like many of waited too long.

Let's see, take a chance with the DNC who is at least saying they support equality and have it stated thus in their statements. Or screw over a group of human beings and choose the GOP who are clearly against equality and take every chance they can to assert that without missing a beat. Yeah, nice there. Pandering is at least a chance for equality for the few people denied it.

Hello Dumbass, in case you have not noticed, the country has gone to hell in a handbag. The debt is out of control, there are no jobs, our borders are unregulated, the cost of everything is skyrocketing and your freaking issue is equality for cross dressers. You make me sick. Wake up you damn freak, you and your ilk are the reason we are in this situation.

I'm a Transexual! Just so you know where I'm coming from. I agree that those are more serious issues than what I am fighting as a Transexual. However, I lost the best job I ever had because my boss couldn't stand "Gays". He didn't know or care about the difference between a TS and a Gay. We were all fags to him. If there was a Rights law in NJ at the time, yes, I would have sued. But bI have leters of commondation from people pleased with my work. There was no legitimate reason for him to force me out. However, I'm a little tougher than that, when I got over the shock of it. I made a nice life without the damn job. Point is that we have to make our own way in the world whatever your shortcoming. I'm kind of happy that I don't have that job and it's pressures now. I can finally be Terri, one hundred percent out! I go all over to see and be seen as Terri. I find I don't need someone to give me "Rights! I already have them!

I'm 100% positive that discrimination against GBLT in the workplace exists, but it sounds to me like you are defending yourself just a little too hard.

/Just sayin.

Back to the transgender topic: As weird as it may seem to us "normal", heterosexual people, wouldn't it be terrible to have these confused sexual emotions?

I mean, it would be great to be a gay guy attracted to other guys who have your same libido, but to have the completely wrong parts?

I dunno man. Ain't a whole lot to celebrate anyway you look at it...

It's just sad, IMHO.

Since you seem new to this, I'm not going to abuse you with insults. However, How much is too much? If we don't defend our selves, who will? Bear in mind, we're less than 1% of the population. Transexuality is a pretty rare condition. Yes, I take every opportunity to try to explain it to! Now about that "Man!"crap. There are few more disguised insults than calling a transexual "Man, buddy, sir, dude, bro, etc". You don't have to do it, You do it because it's your opportunity to "strike back" at someone you consider outrageous. Someone who isn't playing by the rules! I wish you could live my life for one day and you might understand what life is like for us. Oh a BTW, I was with a TS girl last night, who is married with a ready m ade family and she's the stepmother. She's post op and there are no issues about who fits in where.

Wow, I can't believe how condescending you just were to her. Seriously dude, you need a bit of walking in another person's shoes in your life because you lack empathy of any sort.

She has every right to complain about discrimination, everyone does who is effected by it, especially when they are being discriminated against just for being who and what they are. To quote an old shelter friend of mine "it takes more balls to be a transgendered person in the US than any straight male could possibly have." I have witnessed some really bad behavior from people toward them, and people like you may as well be pulling the trigger when they commit suicide, those who stand by doing nothing are as much to blame as those who bully, harass, and kill the trans people.

So get a grip, grow a pair, learn to empathize, and stop being an enabler of bigotry, hatred, and violence.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Pisces

Things are not always what they seem today, so be careful. Someone might appear to be completely honest but turn out later to have been fooling you in some way. Or a situation may seem quite clear-cut right now but forthcoming events will reveal that things are very different under the surface. So be wary about who and what you believe, and don't let anyone push you into making important decisions today because they may not be in your best interests.
