Yeah, there is a Hell and it will soon be evident in the House of Representatives when this legislation is sent there by the Senate. That is where it will get burned by the devils in those unholy chambers.

Leviticus 19:18

Job 38:4-15

4 Where were you when I created the earth? Tell me, since you know so much! 5 Who decided on its size? Certainly you'll know that! Who came up with the blueprints and measurements? 6 How was its foundation poured, and who set the cornerstone, 7 While the morning stars sang in chorus and all the angels shouted praise? 8 And who took charge of the ocean when it gushed forth like a baby from the womb? 9 That was me! I wrapped it in soft clouds, and tucked it in safely at night. 10 Then I made a playpen for it, a strong playpen so it couldn't run loose, 11 And said,'Stay here, this is your place. Your wild tantrums are confined to this place.' 12 "And have you ever ordered Morning,'Get up!' told Dawn,'Get to work!' 13 So you could seize Earth like a blanket and shake out the wicked like cockroaches? 14 As the sun brings everything to light, brings out all the colors and shapes, 15 The cover of darkness is snatched from the wicked - they're caught in the very act!

You have to wonder why homosexuality isn't illegal considering it's about gender segregation.
What an odd idea,

In what way would that be true? I have never heard that the government (or any other entity) is forcing gay people to interact/work/live with only their own gender. I've certainly never come across anything like that, and I suspect I know more gay people than you do.

Can you expand on this strange notion? Maybe provide the stats on this phenomena, or the locations where it is occurring?

Another unnecessary special law. What's next?
Yep, just like those other "unnecessary special laws" which banned discrimination in employment based on race, gender, ethnicity, & religion.

What should be next is a nationwide law stating businesses can't discriminate in employment based on any characteristics which isn't directly related to job performance.

Of course all you bigots want to continue discriminating, as long as YOU aren't the one being discriminated against.

Only becuz the idiots who drafted the bill forgot to add (Q)uestioning,(H)eterosexual,( A)sexual, and (P)ansexual to the end of LGBT. If you're going to write a bill to protect worker rights, then do it cover everyone.
Except of course for the fact that the bill DOES cover everyone.

Sexual orientation & gender identity covers ALL those, including heterosexuals.

Who ever said they were?

Are you saying your Senators are unable to multitask and work on multiple bills at the same time?

Sounds like you need to elect a new Senator.

Riiiiight. Watch what happens if someone tries to claim they were discriminated against because they are heterosexual.

It would be treated the same as when someone tries to claim they were discriminated against because they are homosexual.

The SAME standard of proof is required either way.

It DOES cover everyone,(that's the point) and YOU are the idiot. This headline may say "LGBT" but the actual bill protects EVERYONE from discrimination based on (real or perceived) sexual orientation or gender identity.

The Q, H, A, and P you mention are rarely discriminated against for those designations in the workplace (especially H), however, if they are, this bill protects them too.

How do you define job performance?
What about a man that has worked greeting visitors to his employer's business and then decides he is really a woman trapped in a man's body? When he comes to work wearing a dress, needing a shave and wants into the ladies room? If it were your business, how would you handle that?

how do employers know which employees are gay ? is it an option box on their application. if an employer is unaware the employee is gay and they fire them, can the gay still cry discrimination ? with no proof of any kind of sexual preference, wouldn't this law just self destruct if all employees just say they're gay eliminating any charges of discrimination since all employees are the same sexual preference ? kind of a do nothing law since the loopholes are big enough to drive a train thru.

One clue is when the applicant jumps up on the employer's desk and does a lousy impression of Bette Midler.
