Way back when..at least a couple of decades ago..the signage said, "toilet". Unless you lived below the Mason/Dixon line where one read, "whites" and the other read, "colored". Soon after the newness of integration wore off is when toilets became gender specific, but it's still all about "cooties". Gender-neutral washroom? But, perverts might use them...somehow i can't see the Vancover Mom's Association letting that happen just because the park board wants to save a little money. Good luck with that...
