They may not approve, but they tolerate. Isn't that what we are talking about here?
In a word, horseshit. Topix boasts some of the most bigoted, intolerant haters on the planet. Do you ever actually read some of the sub-human vitriol that permeates these threads?

I know what you mean, Lawrence, but it also appears that the closet's hiding some secret admirers subsisting on a strict diet of peanuts and lemons. I'm sure you share my concern for their health. I hope their mothers packed some vitamins.
Perhaps some Spam kibble.

Yes I have. But that doesn't mean those people that post their beliefs or feelings are not tolerant. They just don't accept it.

You can't force people to accept something they wish not to accept. You cannot force people to like what they dislike. The only people that accept (or like) what they are against are weak minded and weak willed people; people that have minds like playdough that can be formed in any way a person wants. This usually takes place in advanced education. Teacher say--student do....

As for the rest of us, we simply post our objections, but not offer resistance because we just put up with it.

One final word before I sign off. The entire issue of gay rights is simply a civil rights issue. If you believe in liberty and justice for ALL, you have no right to impede them, no matter what your personal feelings are. If you can't support these equal rights, at least get out of the way.

What do you mean? He and about three other reparative therapy closet cases using fifty monikers composed it.

Jews have their own special olympics? Where is that held at?
Hey closet case christardate, did ya figure it out yet?

(Maccabiah Games 2014)

It's exactly like the Gay Games, and lots of different communities have their own versions of the Olympics.

Once again you merely have a sexual disorder which you try to justify by attributing everything under the sun only to lgbt people when it's all equally true of people generally.(Except for the violent rape of women. That one is on heterosexual men.)

Why don't you post a story or two about gays being legally refused service at a restaurant simply because they are gay. Or losing their apartment or job because they are gay.
Okay, you got it.

Just a handful. I tried to restrict it the US, and not include religious examples, as I respect their right to set their own rules. So there are plenty more examples world-wide. And this is just since the media and the law has started to sit up and notice.

You're also welcome to fact-check your own claims. Google is a good starting place. May I suggest keywords like "baker", "florist" and "wedding dress"?

Where are "gay bashings" taking place that are legal?

Oh, and don't post stories where things like this may have happened. Post stories where things like this happened and it was totally legal.
Except for the bashing, it's all perfectly legal (why would bashing be legal?). There have been efforts for years to pass legislation to prevent the rest, but 29 states still make it perfectly legal to fire or evict someone just because they're gay. While you're on Google, look up ENDA while you're at it.

But whether it's legal or not, it still happens (and there are plenty of places in the WORLD where even the bashing is legal). To pretend it HASN'T been happening is to pretend ignorance of history, current events, US law, the Bible... am I missing anything?

Tolerance has a long way to go.

These incidents are not secret - we have multiple threads on businesses doing just that running in the lgbt forum you haunt so obsessively right now.

But I like the implication here that you think protections against discrimination in places of public accommodation are simply unnecessary, for race, gender, "religious" belief, disability.

Because you "are unaware of" any incidents of discrimination on those bases, either.

(Homophobes are so uneducated and stupid.)
