Congratulations.

But to the voters of Chambersburg, your elected representatives on the School Board got you this close to a federal lawsuit that it had absolutely no chance of winning. You may want to rethink your elected representatives on your School Board.

Two events 22 hours apart would only be in the same day if the first event happened between midnight and 2:00 AM.

Even though school board positions are (or should be ) a-political (R's outnumber's D's by more than 2-to-1 in Franklin Co., PA), even in less conservative communities it's obvious that qualifications have little to do with school board elections.

Couple that with the median age of Chambersburg's residents - which is about the same as Florida's - and you're not exactly getting the cream of the crop.

Then again, you're also getting the voice of the majority, right? Thankfully, the constitution is specifically written to protect people from majority opinion, while prohibiting any law respecting establishment of religion.

Opposition to the gay-straight alliance is purely based on bigotry and discrimination. A position that would be easily accepted perhaps even 10 years ago. Unfortunately, Chambersburg is a community that is routinely 10 years behind the curve.

When did she do that? TODAY, right? LMAO!

What did you have for lunch today? What did you have for dinner today?

Because anything that happened in the past 24 hours happened "today," right?

Dumbass.

So there are still 4 board members who advocate breaking federal law in order to discriminate against a mistreated minority.

This board is an embarrassment.

And back to Sparkle, you say you never had anything to do with her.
That's funny...posts 278, 283, 294, 297, 318, were all your posts defending her transgender child, that she brought into the conversation.
By the way, when are you going to send Really in to defend you? You are in great need of help because you lost this one....big time!
Such a shame there is nothing in life that brings you joy...

Perhaps you've never called me names using the handle "just saying," but that doesn't mean you haven't called me names.

You can change your name, but you can't hide the stupid, friend.

She obviously gets joy from making irrationally dishonest and idiotic personal attacks.

BTW - when did someone ever ID me with anything approaching evidence? I don't remember that ever happening.

<quoted text>So what happened to your pal Sparkle's posts? That was the original question. Every single one of her's are gone. Yep, she was a real loser and apparently Topix thought so too.
So where is your praise for Topix removing her posts? You always praise Topix when someone you don't like has their posts removed.
Oh I know why, Sparkle was an idiot and you were defending the idiot and Topix removed her posts and you don't want look like an idiot defending an idiot so you try to divert and turn it on Nerd. Nice try Dan, but not good enough.
Dan and others like him will ignore one of their own getting blocked. You can then follow the posts and see how he tried to change the subject to Nerd being blocked. Once confronted with this he starts with his lies. Dan get a life and a job would be useful to. I am sick of supporting you so you can spend your days posting.

Im not going to post it...it may NOT be you.(Maybe I'll email you the link...)

But the fellows last name - sort of made sense, that might be where you derived "Dan The Man" - a lot more sense than Marisa's "I knew a guy named Dan once..."

'Nuff said - I don't have a dog in this race - and frankly, I think these identity accusations are absurd.

What's the basic premise??- that there can't possibly be more than one person with the same views?

Ridiculous!

So while you guys are arguing about this stupid crap, the school board voted to allow the GSA.

"There is no question that this board has a right and responsibility to approve and regulate non-curricular clubs," said [board member Carl] Barton. "Like any other action of the board, a decision to approve or not approve can sometimes be followed by revelations that come to light only after the vote and challenge original assumptions upon which the decision was made."

In other words, they're serving themselves with each vote - not the students. With this excuse, they admit that they didn't even consider what the differences between the GSA and multi-cultural clubs might be.

The vote went 5-4, so four board members are still against, including board president Stanley Helman.

Couple that with teachers in jail, denying a right-to-know request to a student on account of her age, and a blatantly religious holiday program... come on, CASHS is laughing stock.
