Unfortunately for the spiritual blind, the truth is perceived as arrogance. But the Truth is what will set us free. It is up to you what you choose: heaven or hell. The truth is what will lead us to heaven.

What the cardinal is telling us is that he was born with bisexual orientation and thinks everyone else was born with bisexual orientation just like he was; so he nags everyone about something he knows nothing about like a whiney b!tch.

Bisexuals (like the cardinal) are attracted to both sexes so some bisexuals make a conscious choice to pick a male or a female life partner; others (like the cardinal) don't.

Most bisexuals (like the cardinal) have NO clue that there are people in the world who are attracted to *one sex only*(monosexual)

Gay and straight people make up the group known as monosexuals; and monosexual people fall in love with one sex only and cannot choose otherwise.

A 76 year-old cardinal who hasn't figured this out by now is a dumbass; and apparently even the catholic church agrees.

What truth, that some MAN thinks he has the power to keep someone from God?

Someone who thinks they have the power to condemn someone to hell?

According to scripture, better that man had never been born.

The truth does indeed set one free, free of the bs doctrine made up by romans who high jacked and corrupted the religion of Jesus the JEW.

Arrogance, pure and simple..........

People have a way of saying incredibly stupid things. This is an example of one man saying something incredibly stupid. The article did say that he was "rebuked by the Vatican" for his statement. It is good that they did so. All who believe rely on God's mercy and not the stupid statements of cardinals who should know better.

It seems unlikely that God checks with so-called religious authorities before making decisions. Anything said by humans is merely an assumption predicated largely upon human personal opinions...and it is impossible to prove otherwise.

How can anyone know they are going to heaven?
If you believe you are going to heaven, then you must be a righteous and holy person who completely obeys God's word. You are an imitator of Jesus' conduct, thinking and love for his heavenly Father Almighty God Jehovah. You also know exactly what you are going to do when you get there, because that is why you have the same ministry as Jesus had. According to the Bible only a little flock are going to heaven. If you are realistic then you have to admit you need to understand the Bible to find out exactly what is going to happen to you when you die. Since there is no burning hellfire, or purgatory, God doesn't punish people for not loving him, and yet, he still loves everyone. There is no charge or obligation of any kind to study with Jehovah's witnesses, at least you will know what the Bible is really teaching mankind.

In Dante's Inferno, the inner circle of hell is filled with bishops and cardinals. This is an example of why.

Jesus spoke of unconditional LOVE and gave us a real message of hope.

The catholic church and eleven hundred years of burnings and torture gave us what (other than the dark ages)?

What and where is this 'Heaven' that were supposed to get into? Or hell, for that matter? They have been terrorizing children and gullible adults for centuries with these threats.

The Bible says -If you are guilty of the least sin you are guilty of them all-All sinners wil go to hell unless you are born again and believe that God sent his son to earth to die for our sins. only true believers will go to heaven.
