There are many ways to view this. One way I like is that A TGed candidate is running as a TG candidate. Then normal folks get to see us as we are, warts and all. This leads to a better understanding of us and our struggles. Have no fear, she will not win! But she will gain a very necessary exposure and she's doing it all by herself, no Gay liberation or anything to help her. The Gay population will probably ignore her. You've got to admire her courage.

I am Stacie Laughton and I thank you for your comments and for posting this story. I have win in thus district 2 times before, I am disqualified due to my past legal record. When that is complete than I can run again. I will run again in 4 years and I will win again. I am close to the folks in my district.
