She should NEVER have been charged in the first place. Her attacker(s) should have been arrested, tried and convicted of felonious assault.

The DAs say they can't turn a blind eye to violence, but of course they did.

There was a case in Philly of an lgbt teen who was (more overtly, apparently,) harassed by a group of teens on a bus. He tried to run away, and after being chased stabbed one of the pursuers with a knife. I forget if the pursuing bigot died, but I recall the Philly DA, one of the most savagely hard as sed in the nation, dismissed any charges against the student who did the stabbing. Which was obviously correct.
