Really? Care to explain what you think is wrong with the article or the study it's reporting on? I can't see what they wrote that was horsecrap. Perhaps you could enlighten us?

The Mental Health Industry has no science. No medical model. No evidence based medicine. No test for chemical imbalance and no imaging documentation. The industry is based on hearsay.

I agree that the the mental health field, indeed, any field that deals with human behavior, is not hard science. Yet, many of the conclusions they have come to based on their work have been proven by observation, even if it's only in general terms. I didn't ask about the mental health field though, I asked about the article in particular.

This article deals with the observed fact that kids who are bullied and otherwise mistreated have been damaged and that this damage continues to manifest itself after they leave school. This observation matches what I have seen, particularly among the transgender community, so I'm inclined to disagree with your assessment.

I've been on Effexor from http://goo.gl/LXY9gr only one week but am cautiously very optimistic. Prior to this I was on citalopram but still feeling very low and sleeping poorly, feeling like I needed to be in bed 12-16 hours a day. Now I am waking naturally after only 8 hours sleep and finding it much easier to concentrate at work. I can hardly believe it is working so quickly but I feel so much better. I've had no side effects.
