Miss Universe: Trans Contestants Shouldn't Compete
Maria Gabriela Isler, the former Miss Venezuela who was crowned Miss Universe last week, told the Huffington Post on Thursday that she believes transgender contestants should not compete in the Miss Universe pageant and hold their own contest.

Interesting,apparently she is of the unenlightened opinion that transgender females are not really women and/or she is afraid that transgender women may be more attractive than cis gender women.In any case,these pageants should be eliminated because they exploit all women.They perpetuate a misogynistic and patriarchal culture and society that views women as mere shiny objects and not human beings entitled to dignity and respect equal to men.
