Few complaints Omaha gay rights complaints filed
Two years after the city of Omaha adopted an ordinance aimed at protecting the workplace rights of gay and transgender employees, only a handful of complaints have been filed with the city's Human Rights and Relationship Department.

This proves that there was never any need to make a special ordinance for queers. What a waste of time and money.

Oh gee. The reason it was such a big deal was that the courts were going to be inundated by lawsuits that never appeared. Now the problem is that the lawsuits never appeared.
Could it be that people actually obeyed the law, so it was unnecessary to sue? Could it be that those who did violate the law took corrective action once their mistake was pointed out?
