Save the 'baloney' for a lunch sandwich. I don't use illegal drugs. I don't abuse prescription drugs. I take care of my health. I drink far less than the general population. In my opinion, many of these surveys are even less useful than t*ts on a bull.

For most of us, that is true, but I would suspect that the stress on so many lesbian girls and women, even today, causes an increase in substance abuse.

Bullying, pressure from parents and disapproval from society and the like don't help to make gay youth healthier and happier.

As the bigotry ends, so will that pressure. And so would all of the ills that it creates.

Of course you are correct;and,I do agree. I found it offensive that the article implied that ALL lesbians have this problem.

Nothing new here - all queers drink and drug more than normal folks. They have to numb themselves once they start thinking about how messed up they are.

Do you not see the oxymoronic nature of both of your posts?

With the likes of you around, anyone would want to numb themselves.

rather, the numbing will be done to heterosexual soldiers post-DADT--homosexuals are connoisseurs of all drugs, including "date rape" ones

then comes the unexplainable buttocks pains and the trips to the doctor

Young gay people have to deal with people like you. Of COURSE that's stressful. What would a gay kid turn out like with a parent like yourself?

You prove my point beautifully. Thanks.

And where did I mention my political leanings?

Read minds, do you?

Why dont you go back an read that one over again. There's a trip-up.

By calling them dykes, you assert bigoted, prejudiced pressure into them. Your very statement proves itself wrong.

I don't like to use th word "retard" unless it is the actual medical definition, but in this case I'll make an exception.

See my comment #6 -- that was my point exactly.

Firstly, I wear the label "DYKE" with pride; I own it, I define it, I have the power over it-sorry bigot, Mama 1, retro-idiot ZIP.

If anything it has more to do with the fact that females generally internalize their emotional issues, become depressed and express it self-destructively whereas men tend to deal with their emtional issue through anger and express it by extenal transference and acts of violence-only a generalization, not a rule. If there is a higher incidence amongst gay wymyn it's no doubt the result of the same BS the LGBT community has always had to deal with, and further indication that the religious forces that are the usual culprits have less to do with humanity and improving the quality of human existence and more to do with buying silk dresses for the pope and building multi-billion-dollars-a-year-c hristian-themed fun parks.

Do you take legal drugs for recreational purposes which have bad health effects that are as bad or worse than illegal drugs though?

Your body doesn't know legal and illegal, so just using legal drugs isn't going to keep you from harm.

Do your childish taunts make you feel better? It doesn't matter if you word it so as to sound intelligent, it's still childish. Grow up!

That's just a lie, or more likely, just your ignorance.
The article and survey don't suggest the political attacks against homosexuals that you're trying to impute.

Yes. Eighty percent of the worlds pain killer supply is consumed here in the USA.
Look at all the prescription drugs the government schools want parents to put their kids on.
And who runs government schools?
Queers.

Pretty much.
Queers don't like acknowledging that they might be susceptible to the same foibles and weaknesses as mere normal human beings, to which queers feel so superior in so many ways.
Yet at the same time the queers excuse their behaviors by comparing themselves to many species of lesser animals that sometimes engage in homosexual behaviors.
Oh well.
The trend is towards professional and career suicide to treat homosexuals for psychiatric or psychological problems, including chemical dependency.
To make a diagnosis that the homosexual finds offensive in some way could seriously compromise one's career.
Look at the deaf black lady who was chief of diversity at Gallaudet.
All she did was sign a petition the homosexuals didn't like, and they got her fired.

<quoted text>Is this a gay condition? Your single focus of mind, where all is measured by you. You may be one of the few lesbians who have never had sex with men and that would be you. However, lesbians on average have 5 times as many male partners in a life time as straight women. 91% of gays have contemplated suicide, so you may be one of the 9%. Lesbians attempt suicide my often then gay men, but gay men pull it off more often.
1% of Americans have an IQ over 120, that too could be you.
Yes,I have contemplated suicide;few women have not,in my opinion. Yes,I do have an IQ of 130. No,I have not had a male partner. Yes, I like women. Yes,I adore men;but, fear them. So,what's your point?
