Point taken.

Infact America is the one obsessed with the world since it wants to remain dominant and the leading super power so it constantly spies on other countries for military intelligence.
You've hit the nail on the head, Patty.

They stood on the shoulders of those wise men who went before them. Without Englands work on electricity (starting in 1600) neither Franklin nor Edison could have accomplished anything at all. Besides that, there were many non-American contemporaries who contributed to the harnessing of elctricity ....... and without them (according to your own logic) there would be no computer.

I have travelled overland from Morrocco to Egypt and from there to Cape Town, plus have been to a few West African nations. I have also lived and worked in Rhodesia. I do not agree that ALL Africans are hospitable. Some tribes of West Africa are downright liars, thieves and nasty.

lol. Well, i am hospitable. My tribe believes in treating guests like Kings (males) and Queens (females). With hundreds of tribes all over Africa, i guess i can't speak for all of them lol.

Ok its not my logic its historical fact and im responding to another thread of course theres always the work of predecessors obviously u dont have to b a smartass either u never mistyped a word? Bravo for editing my mistake and glad u list electrician as one of many qualifications so i ask u to enlighten me on those broad shoulders u speak of?
I'm happy to see that you've come down to earth.

All that I'm really doing is ridiculing your notion that without the U.S. there'd be no internet. NOTE: Be very clear that I am riduculing your "notion" not you personally.

It is very silly to say "if not for the U.S." as if nothing would have been achieved without it. Franklin and Edison are only 2 of perhaps a hundred men who contributed to the developement of electricity and each one relied on the achievements of the men who went before them. The develovement of electricity was probably started in England in the 1600's. That's approximatley 200 years before the U.S. existed and 200 years before Frankin was even born.

Now, where were we? Yes, you suggested that the internet would not have been created if not for the U.S. and I'm telling you that if you want to pursue such a silly line of logic then I have no choice but to remind you that if not for England neither the internet nor many other things would have been possible. Personally I think it's a childish thing to think about, but .... you started it.

My suggestion is that we both drop this nationalistic crapolia.

i think Hollywood and Ignorantwood has brainwashed ur stereotypic mind. Go to mayaland for lessons on human cannibalism. As for me, i'm vegetarian. So feeding on people isn't my thing. Of course i enjoy beef and pork sausages but that's it.
