I made a delicious Chicken Korma the other night, its pretty easy and tastes really good.

Heat olive oil and saute onions, garlic and green chilis.

Add cardamon, turmeric, cumin, coriander, salt to taste. add a little tomato puree. Add three cut-up chicken breasts, add chopped green and red peppers, saute.

Add 1 cup coconut milk. add a little water and cook until chicken is done. Add some chopped almonds, some grated fresh ginger and garam masala, some chopped cilantro.

Serve with basmati rice and garlic-toasted pita bread.

It is. A couple weeks ago, I decided I would try i, so I had my daufgter pick me up a couple cans of fruit cocktail, some butter, and whit cake mix. I got my favorite clear baking dis out, dumped in the fruit cocktail and about a half 6 oz. jar of cherry juice with a few cherries in it, and stirred it around to mix it well. When I started scattering the dry white cake mix in it, the wife started hollering "you've got to make a batter with tht first". Of course after 52 years, I know how to totally ignore her, and went right on with what I was doing. Added the called for amount of margarine, then fudged and added 1/4 stick more of butter that was called for. Socked that sucker into the oven, and let-r-bake. I pulled it out when it looked right to me, and it was a beautiful light golden, and a rainbow with a light pink background throughout. The prettiest cake I had seen in a long while. I set it on the table to cool, and before it really got cool enough to eat, the wife dug into it. Sorta amazed me when she said it was the best cake she had eve eaten, but that she would have never thought it could be baked like I did it. Chalk 1 up for the perfessor, for sure. I know you can do it, and, to guarantee your safety, I will sample your first one for you.

The only change I would make to the recipe would be to use canned peaches (like them better than cherries) and to use only butter. Have you ever read what they put into margarine. Yuck!

Thank you again Perfessor, I plan to bring the cake to Easter brunch.
