There are those who know what the bible really said. I call them privileged as I too would love to read the original and uncut and unmodified version because what we have today cannot be taken as true because of all the aforementioned reasons. I'd even learn Hebrew or whatever language I'd have to to be able to read it.<quoted text>
Apocrypha was put into the OT in the 1600. This was not God's doing... IMHO, the KJV is the truest and most purest of God's inspirational word, but then I don't get all caught up in wordy debates on the OT & the NT anymore. I live by example, that's all.
With that being said (lol) &...
Because you're words were so kind to me. I will be happy to point out some scripture that has been changed or missing... You are not unprivileged(that makes me sad for you to even say that) God offers the same to you as he does to me, maybe that's one of the reasons I am here... I do understand if you say neigh...:)
Thank you for your question...SL
As I've said before SL, why do you think they (Vatican) wont let us all own a true and uncut version of the bible? I don't believe you've ever really answered that. I believe you've just said you don't need to read the real version because of your relationship with god. What if the true bible contradicts everything you think you know about your god and how we all came to be?
I think they'd release it if it wouldn't cause mass hysteria and christianity as a whole to fall. They're holding it tight and guarding it like there's no tomorrow for a reason SL.
Please if you can, and I mean no offense, but please answer me with your logic and not your faith. Then, us who don't believe as you wont find it arduous to articulate with you. ;)
