Michele, I'm also sorry about your grandmother's death. Life is sometimes very harsh and hard to understand.

Nancy, I hope the weather in Florida warms up soon. It was so cold in Jacksonville! Even in the sun!

Here is the ring I bought; http://www.jtv.com/African-Tsavorite-Garnet-1... I used 20% off and free shipping. I shouldn't have but couldn't resist!

Wow, Donna! That is better looking than I first noticed. I didn't see the trillion diamonds on that befcre. I might have snapped it up! I was roo busy looking at this Ohio Bankrupcy buy. I hope JTV does a lot more of this and brings in these high quality items.

I tried to convince my Mom to get one of these LFH* pieces, but she keeps denying herself nice things. I gave her a journey diamond necklace for Christmas that I got on sale at JTV. It wasn't huge, but real diamonds and gold. My Dad doesn't buy her nice presents, so I keep telling her to buy herself something. She probably never will, so I will keep giving her what I can.

Terrie, great to see you here. You too Michele. Seems like me and Nancy most of the time. More people need to come back!

Michele, I think it's a good idea that Nancy had about holding on to the house until the market changes. Enjoy the bike!

I bought a loose south sea pearl. I hope it is nice and round without too many blemishes. It was really expensive for just one pearl. I'll let you all know when I get it.

Eating too much easter candy here, too, BTW!

I just got up in the middle of the night and cancelled the order for the tsavorite ring. I just can not justify spending so much money. I have way too much jewelry!

Oops! The orders for the two rings were not cancelled: "Records indicate that order number xyz is to far along in the fulfillment process to be cancelled." They haven't been shipped just "directed to shipping."

HI, Donna. How do you cancel an order? Do you have to call customer service or can you do it online? Did you use a coupon for 20% off on the Frank piece? If so, maybe you can wait until you get it to decide. It was a good deal with the coupon, I am sure. Just a thought. You can always return it later.

I received a pendant in the mail today that I love. I wasn't sure about it when I ordered it, but it was better than expected.

You just email [email protected] and mention cancel and your order number in the title and then give your name, order number and item number in the message. However, this didn't work for me. I bought a blue diamond ring and the tsavorite and diamond ring and they are being shipped soon. Too late to cancel.

Which pendant did you buy?

Hi, Donna. I bought a princess cut solitaire pendant. It was half a carat, but it was in white gold and I wanted yellow gold. Also, from the picture online you couldn't see the clarity. When I received it, however, it was really nice. I can overlook the white gold because the diamond is stunning. The clarity is really nice, and the setting is not just a straight basket setting. Little filagree details make it much nicer. The chain was also nice....a rolo. All in all I am glad I took the chance. It was a one only.

Which blue diamond ring did you order? I saw the Tsavorite, and I think it is beautiful. Wait till you get them home to decide.

I bought http://www.jtv.com/2.00ctw-White-And-Irradiat... I noticed just now if you put your cursor over the photo on the listing it enlarges it on the page.

I can hardly wait for the rings to arrive.

Good Morning,
Thanks Nancy for your advice about the house. Unfortunately, it's not in my hands at all but her ex hubbie's. He just wanted us to come and get the rest of her things. So he has to deal with the headache and he just wants to get it over with asap.

I didn't see any of the dot matrix cut, but the other day they had an amethyst ring/pendant with a cross etched into the table of the stone. Not really for me but perhaps you guys might like it.

I was finally able to get some preowned and they went through! I got one amy ring and, Nan if you're out there, a charoite one that I wanted but I thought both were overpriced. We'll see how bad they are that people returned them. I won't mind so much as the cost wassn't that much. At least I'll be able to see if I like charoite at a low price to start.
Plus I got a few other things I'd been looking at that they just reduced on Mon.
They said on tv a few times that they're having some silver specials this weekend with a bunch of new silver pieces they're bringing in if anyone is really into silver as I am. I hope I don't see anything I really need! Maybe I'll just wait till they go on sale like I'm doing now. We'll see.

AlC, you said before that you got a tahitian pearl. What are you going to do with it, set it, make a pendant?

Talk to you all later and have a great day,
Michele

Michele, wow, it's a shame the ex-husband was cold about asking you to "come and get the rest of her things." You're right, it's his headache now.

I love the unusual cuts in stones. I ran across a site that had butterflies etched into the gemstones, amethysts I think they were.

Glad to hear you got some preowned. I missed the big lot at 500 quantity, but when I checked the next morning I tried to find something I'd want to get, but ended up not getting anything. Kind of glad I didn't, I've been bad buying jewelry making supplies. I remember that charoite ring, I like the color of that stone. Let us know how you like the ring.

I DO wish they'd remove the items off the site quicker after they sell, though. You wade through things and the majority of them are sold, it's such a waste of time.

fairlady, Kim is very fast with her speech. Several hosts are. They wind up and go faster and faster.

The only 20% off coupon I'm aware of is PayPal20, and it only works on and off for me. You know about using DiscFreeSh for free shipping, right?

hi, Diana. Darn. I missed this new HANDSOME host. I hope he is on again so I can see him.

Michele, I bought a white South Sea pearl. Just got it. It is round and lusterous, but it does have several gouges. I don't know if I could hide them all in a ring. I'm on the fence. I thought if I bought one of the more expensive ones, I may get a better quality. Still, I used the 20% off, so I don't know if I could get it anywhere else for the price. It's a large 13.5 mm. I want to make a ring out of it. If anyone knows a good place to buy semi mounts, PLEASE let me know. JTV has nothing for pearls, and a lot of what they have is silver.

Donna, let us know what the rings look like when you get them.

Oh, I have another question.....Anyone buy anything from the "high-end" watch commander guy? I was up late one night last week, and he was on there with Oceanaut watches and I ordered one based on what he was saying. I haven't received it yet, and I'm already second guessing myself. The prices they were selling for were so far below their quoted MSRP that it seems too good to be true. Any thoughts or experiences?

ALC, you could check for the diamond semimount at your local jewelers. I had some loose diamonds several years ago and was looking for two rings to use them with. The jeweler had a book with nothing but semimounts and I was able to choose a setting for my diamonds.

Diana, yes I did see Kim on this morning with that extremely good looking hunk of a guy and he had movie star looks. He reminded me a little of Rick on QVC if you know who I am speaking about. Kim was pretty keyed up this morning and no wonder I would be too sitting next to that guy. It is a wonder she waas even able to talk at all! She does talk extremely fast and it is hard to listen after awhile. I too wondered if anyone else had seen himon this morning. He will be good for JTV if they keep him, let's hope so. He will bring in the business for them.

I found another 10% off coupon this morning, DISCEXCHMR, when ALL the other discount codes failed, PAYPAL20, DISCM018, even DISCSAVE10. I searched a bunch of websites and finally found that one. It's better than nothing. Works with DISCFREESH, too. I picked up a 'one left' lemon quartz 20mm trillion, a bit over 24 carats:

http://www.jtv.com/Brazilian-Lemon-Quartz-24....

Not sure if it's a one-only, or just the last of the group. I always regretted missing out on a 25mm round lemon quartz they had a long time back.

And I was lucky enough to be there when one of these popped back in yesterday afternoon, I thought it was a one-only, but there's a review on it, so it wasn't a one-only. Really neat looking cut:

http://www.jtv.com/Brazilian-Lenmon-Quartz-Av...

I just wish they'd do these cuts in a wider variety of stones. Now to hunt for some mountings!

Hi, all. What is the deal with this 25% off coupon? It seems like it won't work online. Is it legit or what? I would love to have a 25% OFF to make up for the past few cancelled orders. I have another item in "Quality Control" that has been there for almost a week. I hope they can fix it and send it to me. If not, I could use the DISCMRE325 to buy something else. If you hear anything, let me know. I've been trying to follow couponshare, too.

ALC, according to TJOOS.com that code is either invalid or expired. I can't believe DISCSAVE10 isn't working. It's only 10%! We're not asking for much.

I just turned on the TV and Scott and Skip are on with a new "kit". It has 80 carats of A-Z Mix, 3 smaller Gemvue trays of 16 and a DVD. It's $99.99. Get this, it's not available online! I hope this is not a new trend....only for TV kits and deals. Then you have to call in, no coupons, and you have to pay high shipping? I used to call in for stuff, but it's been years. I like taking my time and using the coupons. I don't want to go back to the phones to get deals!

I got the new rings. The Tsavorite ring is gorgeous!! http://www.jtv.com/African-Tsavorite-Garnet-1...

The blue & white diamond was at first just so pretty and sparkling! I reviewed it before I louped it. But when I louped it I found the blue diamonds were cracked, gouged, or scratched. One diamond had little dots on its surface like someone had pressed a tool on it. The white diamonds looked sparkly but they were the old, familiar rock salt.

I asked them to remove my review but they said they can not do that. Once the review is there, it is there. I mailed the blue diamond ring back today. So do not buy UST047

Hi Everyone,
Nancy, I have a question for you that you might know since you make so much jewelry.
The charoite preowned ring that I got has a tiny problem, which I had anticipated after reading the reviews for it. The stone pops out, which is what happened to several of the charoite rings they have. Anyway, I didn't wait for it to pop out on its own so I didn't risk losing the stone while out of the house; I pushed it from the bottom to test it and it did come out. I'm going to clean it up and put it back in, but I don't want to go out and buy anything special, so I wanted to ask you what would be the strongest adhesive to use that I already have around the house. I don't mind doing a little repair work as it was reduced and I used a coupon.
I have a tube of Locktite waterproof adhesive, household goop, duco cement, and a tube of pure silicone. Would any of these work that you know of. I was thinking the duco cement, but not sure.
The charoite is a very beautiful stone. It's a shame their whole line of it seems to have this problem from what all the reviews say. anyway, word of warning, don't pay full price for any of it.
Thanks Nancy for any advice.
