<quoted text>That would be the first thing the cookie cutter would grab! I think he and I will make some tomorrow night. I have a lot of choc chips on hand and plenty of butter, flour and sugar. I want some of the no bake ones the kids call "cow patties" Cocoa, sugar, butter, oatmeal and peanut butter all mixed together and just cooked on top of the stove for a couple minutes. Plop 'em out on waxed paper and they do sort of resemble cow patties! But they taste good! That's one I get a lot of requests for at work. I usually have to make a double batch. Guess they'd be considered gluten free if oatmeal is. I'll have to ask SBAD. She'd know.

You knew I was laying in wait for something sweet to eat.
Hey Mousie~~
I baked a dump cake this morning.
I used pineapple cake mix and it turned out great.
I went a little crazy with the pecans and coconut, too.

When Curlie came in this evening he said he couldn't wait
to clean his plate, so he could have dessert.

It's storming here and we're under a torado warning. We've got lots of thunder and lightning, hail and it's windy. Springtime in GA.
Sorry to here that
I think I heard the other day that March was the month with the most tornadoes
Yet another beautiful snowy night here... perfect winter, not one snowfall over three inches

I think the late 70's produced some ugly cars.

What do you remember as being the ugliest car, once upon
a time?

For me it would be a tie between a Gremlin and a Pacer.

Sure.

1 3/4 C Sugar
1/2 C milk
1/2 C butter
4 Tablespoons cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
3 C oatmeal
1/2 C peanut Butter

Put 1st four ingredients in a pan. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 1/2 minutes. Take off stove and add vanilla, oatmeal and peanut butter and mix thoroughly. Drop by spoonsful onto waxed paper and let sit until they're "dry" I use a 5 qt pan so I have lots of stirring room. Store in airtight container. Makes 4 - 5 dozen depending on how large you make them. I believe I've shipped some of these to CA and they were still fresh when they got there. And don't forget to lick the spoon!

LMAO--Tony had a yellow Gremlin when we first met. It came with the requisite 8 track tape player, too.

There's several today that are strange looking. Scion comes to mind. That little tiny smart car is another one. And there's this van looking thing--I think it's called a Transit?

<quoted text>I wish that were true. I've been blessed with chronic insomnia for years and sometimes nothing will make me sleep. The VA gives some real hard core drugs but I hate to take that stuff. Saturday night I did, though, and it didn't work at all. Neither did the other meds. Once in awhile I'm just not going to get any sleep, no matter what, and it takes days to recover. I don't know how tweakers do it.
That sucks. Most nights I don't have any problem getting 6 - 7 hrs of good sleep, but occasionally, I'll wake up around 2 and not be able to get back to sleep.

lol....

For some time many of us have wondered just who is Jack Schitt?

We find ourselves at a loss when someone says,'You don't knowJack Schitt!'

Well, thanks to genealogy efforts, you can now respond in an intellectual way.

Jack Schitt is the only son of Awe Schitt.

Awe Schitt was married to O. Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, and owner of Needeep N. Schitt, Inc. They had one son, Jack.

In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt. The deeply religious couple produced six children: Holie Schitt, Giva Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Bull Schitt, and the twins Deep Schitt and Dip Schitt.

Against her parents' objections, Deep Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high school dropout.

After being married 15 years, Jack and Noe Schitt divorced. Noe Schitt later married Ted Sherlock, and because her kids were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. She was then known as Noe Schitt-Sherlock.

Meanwhile, Dip Schitt married Loda Schitt, and they produced a son with a rather nervous disposition who was nick-named Chicken Schitt.

Two of the other six children, Fulla Schitt and Giva Schitt, were inseparable throughout childhood and subsequently married the Happens brothers in a dual ceremony.

The wedding announcement in the newspaper announced the Schitt-Happens nuptials.

The Schitt-Happens children were Dawg, Byrd, and Horse.

Bull Schitt, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world.

He recently returned from Italy with his new Italian bride,Pisa Schitt.

Now when someone says,'You don't know Jack Schitt,' you can correct them.

Sincerely,

Crock O. Schitt

Good morning, Cat. It's a frog. Just lick it once--it'll have you hallucinating bad if you do too much. Want some coffee to go with that?
