Been listening to the Beatles White Album. I don't think there's a song on there that I don't like. Awesome!

I always thought it was neat to buy an album and like all the songs. Hated having to buy an album for just the opposite~~
Only liking one song on the album.

My son liked for me to sing, Maxwell's Silver Hammer and Octopus Garden to him. I don't know why those songs would cause him to
get so tickled but he did.

You know, the Beatles were talking to me and Charlie in this album. Difference is, I didn't kill anyone or have anyone killed. I got this as a Christmas present in 1968. It was just too cool at the time. Ok. there might be a couple on here I'm not too fond of. But two out of a double album ain't too bad. Lying with his eyes while his hands are busy working overtime! I love that line. I need a fix cuz I'm going down. Down to the bits that I left uptown. Happiness is a warm gun. Or whatever. When I hold you in my arms and I feel my finger on your trigger---that's not a sexual thing???? A lot of sexual innuendos going on here. And I love Martha my dear. A lot of happy songs on here and a whole lot of happy, happy memories. What an awesome group they were.

To Love Somebody (Janis Joplin)

When I watch and listen to JJ it's heart wrenching to wonder what we listeners have missed as a result of her very young death.
jmo~I've always thought she sang from her soul
and she loved the blues.

I have a cassette that we listen to in the car with some old Beatles tunes. Buzz likes Yellow Submarine and Octopus Garden. It's sort of neat that the songs we enjoyed as teenagers are still fun for generations (he's my fourth generation).
Timeless. And he still loves me to sing some old Peter, Paul and Mary stuff. Lullabies!

I have a copy of the above book and I was looking through it this morning.
Malcolm Forbes sure liked to collect some expensive stuff.
I bet he left plenty to his dear friend, Elizabeth Taylor. Maybe not directly to her but in donations
especiallly for AIDS research.
The cars he collected are worth a king's ransom.

Thanks, Ruby. I like her voice. Remember when she was with the Stone Ponies?

This is my favorite by her.

Thanks for the coffee, dad. I think the fine patrons here might be wanting something a little more substantial than frosted flakes and bananas, though.

Good morning Covcas and fine diners. Yes you are correct, I came to your diner specifically for your biscuits and gravy and your seasoned country potatoes. And of course, please don't forget the coffee.
Cov, how are you today? So you have anything exciting planned?
Good morning! Not much going on here today. Just hanging out around the house. What about you?

Heard on the news this morning~~
The original 1966 Batmobile is going on the auction block.
It's a guess of between 2.5 & 3 million.

It was a neat looking car. I used to like that show, too. Same bat time, same bat channel.

Morning Covcas

I could use a pot of Kona and a piece of birthday cake. A piece with some big flower on it - no, it's not my birthday. When I was a kid that was my idea of paradise. Those birthday cakes with a theme on them - the one's you ordered at the super market. I want one of those with pink roses on it.
