It's going well thanks. I think of you often and have missed you.
Good afternoon, Bill. Here's a link to what I think would be descriptive of your occupation. Who knows, it may help you keep an account for a whole week ot two? Y'all have a good'n.

Oops! Almost forgot; it's good to see you posting, Hegel. Hope it's been a nice vacation for you. Y'all have a good'n, and may God bless.

Thanks!
You could make it with all white potatoes, no problem.

I think I know that place....

Isn't that where they take their bosses out for lunch daily?

I hear that there is a high turnover rate at that place.

That's true, but I'd honestly like to try the sweet...considering the ingredients, they might take on a taste more palatable to me.

I'm so glad you're back. Noted Observer has virtually taken over, rousing the rabble and threatening to spank the women.

Thanks so much, perfessor:) When I signed in I saw my last post was on May 1st. It's been longer than I thought! Hope you're doing well, too.

I might need some jam to make it work. Or apple butter.

Surely not!
:)

Looking back, I've seen posts from nearly everyone and lots of good links, so I want to thank you all for that.

I also see the judge-it fairy is gracing us with it's sexually ambiguous presence as well, so welcome to you and I hope all that clicking makes you deliriously happy and builds you a sturdy stairway to heaven. LOL

But did you ever own a bug? I had a 1967 automatic stick. It was 12 years old at the time I bought it but only had 30,000 miles on it. They only made the auto stick for two years. You shifted gears with a stick (and not in the usual stick order) but it had no clutch. Got me through college and kept me broke.

anybody else ever own a VW?

Was it the "Le Car" that VW made that was a convertible and looked like those Nazi staff cars? Neighbors had one.
Ha! I learned to drive a stick on a VW too, in the Santa Anita Race track parking lot. Where we kids all learned to drive.

My car was a different beast. I found this blog where you can see how the back end of the car was marked. As well as a photo of how the gear shift pattern was laid out. Makes me kind of nostalgic for the days I drove around with my traveling cat.

Good morning everyone~~
I've owned two bugs and a VW van.
My sister's first car was a VW bug.
Seems we pushed it to get it started
more than we used the ignition.
More likely than not, I would not get
in the car until she tried cranking it,
because I knew I would be one of the
pushers.
Got into an argument with her one time
over always having to be a pusher instead
of the clutch popper.
