Are you serious~~the Simpsons version?
I'm thinking how funny it would be if, Family Guy,
did it. lol
Luckily I found my copy of the book this morning and
it still has the bookmark where I left off.
If I can conquer the book before I see the movie, I'll
be able to complain about~~I would not have picked THAT
actor for THAT character.
I could not stand the made-for-tv version of The Shining.
jmo~~how could anyone top Jack Nicholson in that role?
Seriously serious.
The Simpson Movie wsa about the town that the Simpson's lives in being encased in a dome.

I didn't know that there was a TV version of The Shining. I probably wouldn't have watched it anyway. I refused to even look at The Dead Zone when it was on TV.

I have an old Pro-Form...it's over 10 years old...it cost around $450. It's big and loud and clunky and I want to get rid of it! I'm looking to buy one of those Bowflex Treadclimbers. Have you seen them? That's what I would buy if I were you!

I owe this thread and some here an apology, I know who the grey boxer is form Illinois, She used to go by the name Midwest Gal/Brown Eyed Beauty and some other names, it's an old friend turned psycho that I THOUGHT had grown up and moved on, now I see she has gone completely under as a hardened troll, so I apologize for disrupting your thread a while back.

Peace!

My neigborhood has a lot of low fences and big dogs behind them, which give me a lot of incentive to run as fast as possible.

Treadmill?!?! You don't need one of those. Just put on your best pair of running shoes, a red jogging suite, walk out into the nearest pasture and smack the biggest bull you can find in the head with a rolled up newspaper. You'll get all the running you can handle and bring your heart rate up to peak levels.:D

Hi Ms Rose and the rest if you hoodlums. Hope everyone is well this fine evening.

While perusing thru topix last night, I began to think of a quote that I like. "An infinite amout of monkeys, given an infinite amout of time, would eventually recreate all the great works of literature." Then I realized where they put all the drivel that those monkeys produced in the mean time.

Did someone ask about treadmills? LOVE THEM.

I miss my old treadmill. It was perfect for me, at the time. I had it set up in a room with a view. The trick for me was to put on my workout clothes and shoes as soon as I got up in the a.m. so I wouldn't get lazy.

Then, I would fix breakfast for my husband and child, put in my ear buds and run through one side of a Stones album.

Now, I walk the dog, but I might get another one for rainy days!

I went to Sears the other day. They had one that was on sale for 350. I couldn't seem to get myself coordinated enough to do it. The first thing I said to the sales associate is "they're HUGE and UGLY" can you fold them up and hide them? I don't think thats a good start.

Maybe I should start with something out of Craigs List

Good idea about looking on Craigs List.
People buy them, then when the newness wears off, they sit gathering dust.
In today's tough economy, I think selling a treadmill on CL
would be a common item.
