btw Ricky, you were talking about some event/sport you attended...I couldn't figure out if it was mountain biking, golf or tennis.
It was billiards.

Yeah I have good memories of camping and staying at those same kind on motels. I always wanted to go to a ghost town, I've always liked stuff like that, maybe one of these days?

RD was not an attractive man.
Did you see Natural Born Killers?
I was surprised he had a role in
that movie.

Hegel, those awkward family Christmas cards are hysterical. I think my fave was the family on their hands on knees in the snow.

I didn't get the one with the family of four wearing white. The family from Rocklin, with husband, wife, the boy and baby girl.

I stopped at a place similar to this in Wyoming this summer. It's called 1880 Town. Several westerns were made there including "Dances With Wolves." Real interesting place.

I think that's Scott Stapp from the rock band Creed. Maybe it was considered too rock star-y. Don't know.

When you go to places like that it gives you a good feel for how folks lived back then. I'll take today. LOL

OK, thanks Hegel. I thought it might be because the wife didn't have on a bra, like that's a big deal. Or that the little girl didn't match the family.
I thought it said, "Rocklin." Rocklin is just up the road from here. I'm going to need to get those new glasses.

Isn't it funny how we are? We're next door to all those cool ghost towns that cropped up during the mid-1800's Gold Rush and yet, we don't go. Or, at least I haven't. I think I've been to one or two.
One of these days I'm just going to plan it! Hey, we all should get together and go as a group. Wouldn't that be fun?

LOL! OK I just took a closer look. Looked like he was poised to smack mom on her right cheek, but he was waving, the crop in his left hand.
Where is Ferrerman during this analysis?

I like this thread because we can actually have discussions and we're not required to say good morning and good night to every flucking poster.
Finally, I promise I won't ask you how to cook a chicken.

Maybe 'Mom' gets a spank, and the kids get the crop! I laughed out loud when I noticed it though.

Right? We talk about Dads whipping their wife and kids for the family Christmas photo! Can you imagine what their newsy letter is like?
