To whom it may concern, March 20, 2013
Maybe you did not receive my letter I mailed to you in Washington D.C.
At last I cannot reason or prevent the grand power wielding electric corporation from putting giant power poles on the small rural residential area. What was once a small quaint two lane road in the country. The road was widened by the Right Away Imminent Domain; the government took my land too cheap. Then mysteriously a permit with the local corporation to string great big power poles to the rest of south east Arizona devastating the looks and natural settings of the area.
My neighborhood just does not look like it once did. The value of my home has gone down. Power cables could have been put under ground and preserve the natural beauty of the area but cost savings must have been ruled out as an alternative. This has taken the soul from our community. You will not hear from me again. There will be no photo Op, no big media coverage. You did this community wrong. I know corporations and Sulphur Springs Valley Electric donít care about this community of people. You have no Idea how you have hurt me and my family. Though I sent a complaint letter to the 70 members of the US Senate, 429 members of the House of Representatives, the Arizona Governor, the County supervisor, four mayors and council offices of Sierra Vista, Bisbee, Benson, and Douglas, as well as Sierra Vista Herald, CNN news, time magazine, and the Washington Post, Environmental Protective Agency. There seems to be little consideration or concerns. Perhaps too soon I donít know.
The Senate and House of Congress with your partisan bickering are causing a real ruin to this country. I mail a copy of this to you House Speaker Boehner, Senators Nancy Pelossi, Harry Reid, Mich McConnell, and Eric Cantor as leaders do not always be remembered for failing the country. Your dissention lack collaboration and failing to do house cleaning is causing Corporations like this to monopolize states like Arizona, laying it to waste. Arizona Representatives; I blame you for what you aloud to happen in Arizona. I have written all your offices in Washington, DC and you have not even responded to someone from your own state. Well now I mail your home office. Mr. Barber where are you these days?
Governor I have listened to you say before you donít get involved in local politics. Well your city, county and state local government are not as well. This electric corporation is destroying land. I have never received response from your office or local government representatives. I am sure it is true if there was more money or notoriety larger numbers would be involved. If I seem angry it is because I am. But, overall I am disappointed, and a heart broken because a system when a person works hard is honest and cares gets treated by the very group of leaders responsible for taking care of the country and the communities fail.
