I've been invisible to other users more than 24 hours

It's been more than 24 hours since I uploaded a new pic of myself, the pic still cannot be seen by other users, and now NONE of my posts can be seen by other users either... what's going on >.>?

I reported it a day ago though the "contact us" form, I'm not getting any response and I can't participate in any of the discussions, I'm invisible to everyone. Is this the norm or what?

I also tried uploading the pic over and over again (if that would help with solving the prob), but all my other posts are gone and even the previous posts I made visible to everyone cannot be seen on my profile. Seriously guys, is it gonna be this much trouble just to change a pic of yourself cause I've seen several other people complaining about this...

I'm not any moderator -nor am I any editor, but I will weigh in, Kim:

When I updated my photo, it showed up when I was signed in, but it was not there after I signed out, and apparently invisible to other users.

After an indefinite period, however (perhaps a day or so?-I don't know), it was visible to me even when I was not signed in -perhaps, I speculate, a slow computer at Topix headquarters.

ALSO -with regard to your post(s) not being visible, here is **MY** experience:

Once, some other person said he couldn't see one of my posts, so I signed out and tried to view it.

I discovered that almost all of my posts were visible -even ones AFTER this one -but this particular post was NOT visible.

I contacted the moderator both in forum and via the contact page -and email too.

The email bounced. I don't know what happened to the contact form message.

The message I posted in forum, however, is here:

You see their response, don't you? They said occasionally a post gets filtered out.

I WILL add this, however: It seems that sometimes when a post is invisible to the general public, it is visible to the person who posted it (at least in my experience).

Hi thanks for your reply, I actually read your thread too thinking it was exactly the same, but the posts are bothering me, I will give it another day to see if my pic is uploaded before I contact them again but as for the posts ALL of them from the time I signed up are gone and I haven't been banned or violated anything in all of them so i don't know if it's going to be like this until they approve my pic if they ever do...

hmm...

Since you're not a registered user, that means that you are not "signed in."

Therefore, if **you** can see the posts, probably EVERYBODY can see them.

PS: As a non-registered user, you, yourself, can't be banned.("You" don't exist.)

However, since your IP address hasn't been blocked, and since your posts have apparently not been deleted, then the "TopMods" probably don't have a problem.

I'd say that probably computer problems with their servers is the cause.

Oh, one more thing: If you posted a nude photo or something lewd, lascivious, and obscene, that might get it removed -but I trust that is not the case.

The reason I'm not logged in at the moment is because of the problem I described earlier. None of my replies can be seen, they are only visible to me upon logging in.
If I had asked the question here under my registered account the post would not of been visible to you or any other user :(

I was thinking it was because my picture was not approved, but now the photo is visible so it's been approved, the only problem is, while the photo is up NOTHING else can be seen.

No one can see my biography (which is not in violation) or track my previous posts (which I have enabled)

I also confimed that I still can't any post I ever made since the day of registration. I confirmed logging into another account, viewing after logging out, viewing from another computer and from a friend in Connecticut and California.

All my posts and my bioagraphy is still visible to me though. Since the photo at least is cleared up, I'll give it another day to see if the posts will follow, but it shouldn't take this long just to change a photo don't you think?:(

My pic is now visible by other users, however all information on my biography has been removed, including "previous posts" tracking, which I had enabled.
All 800+ posts since the day of my registration are still invisible to all users but myself (when logged in), no posts I have made since posting this problem here is visible either.
I have dispatched three emails daily to the topix staff with no response.
Moderators I would appreciate it if you could address this asap.

Yea, me and a friend of mine havin this pro, friend stopped posting altogether but I'm beginning to get ticked... i've been watching the thread since friday, where are the mods? why doesn't the contact form get any responses?
