Online virtual world of maps from all over the Worl and trust me, there's a TON of infor here, you could spend weeks looking through high quality maps from all over dating back to the 1800's.

Search from the upper right corner

Old City maps
Railroad maps
Historical maps
Battle maps
Even Mars maps, etc!

You know Ricky, I have long had an interest in the Lewis and Clark expedition, did you know Clark was quite the cartographer and drew many maps in his journals, he navigated the entire expedition too, from celestial navigation.

Here is one of his maps:

Not much of a map, but then there wasn't much for him to map back in those days, or was there? lol

OMG Ricky, he mapped the United States! The whole expedition, was into uncharted territory. He was an extraordinary cartographer and navigator, he got very little wrong, navigating the entire expedition, with celestial navigation.

This says it has some virtual tours related to the Lewis and Clark expedition, I am sure there are better ones also, its popular American history.

I have long found it fascination, an expedition across American into uncharted territory. Its amazing they made it back, but they sure did.
