I saw a whale once, it was at Pismo Beach, a huge flocks of birds descended on the ocean, chasing all the swimmers out, they were diving for fish all over the place.

Standing on the shore, I was watching this amazing spectacle and suddenly a whale tail emerged from the water, I looked around to see if anyone else saw it and the lady standing next to me nodded as she looked, few others did though. It was so close to the shore, I did not know whales came that close, it was obviously following the school of fish.

It was cool.

I saw some type of "big cat" (yrs
ago) in the woods near my home.

There is a huge debate raging b/t
ppl in this state over the existence
of animals like these in this area.

I guess, had I not seen it w/my own
two eyes, I might be w/the naysayers.

It was very large, jet black w/a
long, thin tail. Longer than it's
body. And it made the scariest noise
that I've ever heard. Something b/t
a woman/baby screaming. Still gives
me chills.
Never heard or saw one b/f or since.

Could it be a fisher, or fisher cat as some call it?

I used to see these quite often in eastern Ontario and they are in other places in North America. Trust me, never leave your pets alone outside if these things are around your area, they can be vicious.

Thanks for the idea but no.
The animal that I saw looked like a
black mountain lion.
And the sound was totally different.

What ppl in this area have always
called them was 'panthers' altho I
don't believe that panther is a species
of cat in and of itself.
(I could be way wrong about that. lol)

"They" say we don't have big cats in GA. I beg to differ since we saw one at a deer carcass on the side of the road one night. It took off like a shot!
That isn't the first time I've seen one either.

I looked up some facts about the mountain
lions that we have in the U.S. and it's very
possible that they are in more areas than is
known.

They are very secretive and good in weather
up to -40F. They bury their kill and their scat.

I believe it is possible that they are every
where from GA up to Maine.

I think you observed the Whale "herding" the baitfish towards shore and they naturally oblige because the whale can only go in so far, then the birds take advantage of so many baitfish crammed together.

Natural beauty of nature is awesome, I have seen Red squirrels bombard a red tailed hawk to save one baby squirrel. When you see a squirrel go Bruce Lee on a bird of prey and win; it's like watching your favorite action hero win when you thought they were done for!

Ok, got ya. Who knows what it was.

When I lived in eastern Ontario, saw a big black animal near my garage one night, I was sitting on the patio steps. Freaked me out because it was said someone had spotted a cougar nearby a few days earlier. Had no lights on there at the time.

Turns out it was a Great Dane dog from a couple of houses away...lol

Ahahahahahaha

That's too funny.
Those dogs are Big!
It would scare the crap out
of me to see one unexpectedly
exp. at night.

I'm not scared of much but
running into a cougar....that
is terrifying.
Also a grizzly bear. There
are plenty of them up in
Canada I hear.

Carl Bad ....

Ummmmm they took out 4 fluid filled sacs from his scrotum . Enlarging him 3/4 over his natural size. It was very painful for him . I am hoping what they took out has a clean biopsy . Don't sure if the jewels will be working yet. That happens in these surgery's. so he feels better to not carry that cannon ball , hoping he can still shoot it . Lol . No kidding they nipped my Dad and the wander stay flaccid . I know TMI . It's just something I'm open about in case it happens to others . Especially men they tend not to talk about those things .

Anyhoo , thanks for asking .
