With farce after farce after farce piling up in their own Tower of Babel, the much-vaunted ''US credibility'' is in itself the biggest farce of all. Politically, no one knows how the vacuum will be filled. It won't be via the UN. It won't be via the BRICS. It won't be via the G-20 - which is seriously divided; at least new multipolar players are carrying way more weight than US poodles.
Much would be made to restore ''US credibility'' if the Obama administration had the balls to force both the House of Saud and Qatar (''300 people and a TV station'', in the epic definition of Saudi Arabia's Prince Bandar Sultan - aka Bandar Bush) to end once and for all their weaponizing of hardcore ''rebels'' and ultimately hardcore jihadis, and accept Iran in the negotiating table for a real Geneva II peace process in Syria. It won't happen because this bypasses farce.
Once again; helpless Barack is just a paperboy. The plutocrats in charge are getting extremely nervous. The system is melting - and they need to act fast.
They need a Syria as docile as the Arab petro-monarchies. They want to hit Russia bad - and then discuss missile defense and Russian influence in Eastern Europe from a position of force. They want to hit Iran bad - and then continue to issue ultimatums from a position of force. They want to facilitate yet another Israeli attempt to capture southern Lebanon (it's the water, stupid). They want a monster gas pipeline from Qatar for European customers bypassing Iran and Syria as well as Gazprom. Most of all, this is all about control of natural resources and channels of distribution.
These are real motives - and they have nothing to do with farce. Farce is only deployed to kill any possibility of real diplomacy and real political discussion. Farce is a theatrical mask - as in ''humanitarian'' imperialism - the ''acceptable'' version of the Dick Cheney-run years.
It's as if Dick Cheney had never left the building; paperboy Barack is Dick Cheney with a ''human'' face. The only good outcome in this multi-sorrowful tale is that the real ''international community'', all around the world, has seen the naked Emperor in all its (farcical) glory.

THERE IS TO BE NO CHEMICAL WEAPONS ISSUE ABOUT SYRIA, so that US cannot strike Syria to enlarge the civil war by escalating in addition to kill more people.

Enough is enough done by US of bad stand and direction in the past, BECAUSE US has done extremely and too much unwanted chaos of lacking human principles to the rights of people of Middle East by causing turmoils from showing US degrading creed.

Anyhing from US by telling of its absolute proof, even with interception of phone conversation, as if other Syrians were speaking as regime officers, is simply rejected (Because there is no truth to it.)

UN must make it clear that chemical weapons issue is not the case of Syria.
NO US presentation of evidence or proof is of the public business matter in UN as must be discarded and Russia must also tell UN to do so.

NO UN chemical weapons reports are to be presented, as solely to accomplish the public business on the basis of not to enlarge the civil war by escalating in addition to further destroying the human rights and existence of more people as US has done too much of, to a very large degree in the ME region--this is to achieve the changing direction in the region from all the bad things US has done, that US is ruled out of its say in ME, so that US is not to do any more bad things again in the region.

Syria welcomes Russia's call on Syria to surrender control over chemical weapons
Full story: Ottawa Citizen
Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Mouallem speaks to the media after his talks with Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, unseen, in Moscow on Monday, Sep

++++====

As is troubling, US already has done too many wars in ME region, and has done unjust atrocities of slaughtering too may people AND BY TRANSGRESSION in the region.

Obama is extremely dangerous person on earth as of now.

NO,SYRIA SHOULD NOT HAND OVER ANY CHEMICAL WEAPONS. RUSSIANS are very bad and suffer humiliation by telling Syria to do so. Russia is beyond being sloppy, it is just very ugly of Russians to tell Syria in fear of US strike, or tends to do things in a mess. RUSSIA IS JUST TOO STUPID.

Let the world see how Russia will vote in UN. Let the world see if US dares to strike Syria. Let see the world sentiments and reaction to US daring to strike Syria. The fact is THAT the world is against US strike Syria. Syria has nothing to lose by not turning in any chemical weapons.

THAT ASSAD SAYS HE HAS NOT USED CHEMICAL WEAPONS IS WHAT IT MATTERS AND COUNTS. Example is WHEN some people are poisoned by bad alcohol, US points to someone. But that someone says he has not used poisoned alcohol--they need to find out if evidence is true and who really did the poisoning as the question is just who has done that--it could be anyone by masterminding doing the poisoning , including US.

Syria needs to examine any elements within regime and military that has been infiltrated, linked to rebels or US elements to do any chemical weapons usage at just one time to show, particularly when UN inspectors were in, that Outside US CIA might get in , for this is the great opportunity on that date of 8/21 to do usage of any sain gas, as one-time thing deliberately for them to have easy phone tapping and other things too, so that the finger pointing will be easier.

Syria must declare that, without going by proper procedure, it is unlawful for rebels to do violence to have lots of people killed, while Syria is endeavoring the best to handle the problems of the country to make the agenda of the direction for the future. Obama is very dangerous, vicious with bad standpoint against the world people, including the Syrian people at a time for their critical needs, to damage the world diversities of people in doing his malicious cleansing of world spectrum.

US had used chemical weapons against its people before and Agent Orange in Vietnam which caused and made lots of soldiers and people die already.

A lot of countries have chemical weapons and have they used them, or might have used them before, including US?
Why does US want to strike on Syria by pointing TO DO GENOCIDE AND MAKE MORE PEOPLE WORLDWIDE SUFFER?
As is troubling, US already has too many wars in ME region, and has done unjust atrocities of slaughtering too may people AND BY AGGRESSION in the region.

The people in Syria already suffer badly from hunger, ill conditions from rebels fighting, while US inhumane way of ugly claws is showing to the world against the Syrian people.
US trying to do cleansing of world diversities of people is clearly very vivid in apparent display to want to strike Syria.

US has dug in a big hole by jumping to conclusion, with dirty scheme with no way out.

Dimming Nation

By Linh Dinh

Joe Flacco got flacks for being overheard blurting “Fuckin’ awesome!” on air, and upright citizens griped over Alicia Key’s jazzy rendition of the National Anthem. Led by our cynical and sinister media, we sure know how to scrutinize, carp and fine tune our moral, civic and aesthetic standards. Whenever Pentagon troops are shown, we cheer, as if consenting to their killing or being slaughtered for the same ruling elite that are destroying us here, back home. The military has been thoroughly woven into our lives. After winning the Super Bowl, the Ravens paraded in Humvees chauffeured by soldiers.

With its specific tint, tone and irreplacable meaning, each word has its place, and none is obscene if used properly, but any word can rape the ear and mind if spewed by hypocritical assholes. When the President of the United States of America intones “freedom,”“democracy,”“shining example,”“beacon” or “security,” for example, you best duck and dive into your bunker.

In the Superdome, poor, helpless citizens were abandoned by their uncaring and negligent government not long ago, but for this big bash, tickets went from $850 to $1,250, with fans coughing up much more on the black market. New Orleans is back, they keep saying, but poisoned by the BP oil spill after being slammed by Katrina, the entire region is still in distress. It hasn’t been wrecked by nature, as much as greed and bad government.

With its French, Spanish, Creole and black-infused culture intact, New Orleans remains one of America’s most alluring cities, for sure, but there is no denying its widespread poverty and extremely high crime rates. With The Times Picayune published only three days a week, it is also the only one without a daily newspaper.

The homeless are all over this city. They sprawl in Marigny, Faubourg Lafayette and the Warehouse District. In the French Quarter, they pick leftover drinks and food from trash cans. Scavengers collect cans and bottles. Less than a mile from the Superdome, there was a homeless encampment of up to 200+ people, near the Amtrak Station, but it was cleared in November. You wouldn’t want fans arriving by train to see so much desperation and squalor, would you? Nearby, New Orleans Mission has 252 beds, but it costs $5 to get in for the night, though you’ll get dinner also.

The homeless are all over this country, and blackouts will become more common, just like in the Third World. Living in Vietnam in 1999-2001, I experienced a blackout nearly every day. Lights, fans and computer would suddenly wheeze out and stay off for a couple hours, sometimes longer, occasionally less, eliciting cheers, literally. Sweating, I’d lie down on the tiled floor, fan myself and mumble,“Am I in the Superdome during Katrina or what? Who’s winning? What’s the score? Where’s my Corexit appetizers?”

So you steer your Kia to the levee, but the levee is broken. The good old boys are downing your life saving and mine, singing,“This is the day America dies.” As the US wheezes out, your house, too, will abruptly turn unbearably hot or cold, if you’re still under a roof, that is, and not camping out under the Pontchartrain Expressway.

Huh ? Did you mean nobody has become a prophet (visited by an angel which is mistake by Islam when cobbled together by the Arabs).
Or did you mean no one has become an angel ?
An angel... that according to Islam is in the image of a person & speaks to you, but you never see them eating or drinking or sleeping or going to the toilet. That's most people on tv or the Internet as one example.
So most images of humans on tv or the Internet are now angels,, according to Islam.

Poverty levels in New Jersey are bad and getting worse, as a quarter of the state's households now struggle to afford housing, food, medical care and other necessities, according to a new report by a leading poverty research group.

The study, released Sunday by the Legal Services of New Jersey Poverty Research Institute, says that in one of the nation's wealthiest states, 2.1 million people live in households that have a hard time meeting their basic needs. That number grew by about 359,000 during and after the Great Recession and now comprises 24.7 percent of New Jersey residents.

Hardest hit is Passaic County, where 37 percent of the residents are poor, followed by Cumberland, Essex and Hudson counties, while Bergen County's rate stands at 18 percent. Even in Morris, Hunterdon and Somerset and other wealthy counties in northern New Jersey, 10 to 14 percent of the residents are poor, according to the report, which is based largely on 2011 data from the US Census Bureau.

The number of households having a hard time staying afloat financially highlights the underside of a state where the median household income ranked third in the country in 2011.

"The numbers are very troubling," said Melville Miller, president of the legal services agency. "It's very bleak. That awfulness needs the attention of society, writ large."

The institute defined poverty as living on incomes less than twice the official poverty line. The 173-page report, the seventh annual study by the institute, goes into great detail about how the official poverty rate masks actual financial woes in New Jersey because it fails to account for the higher cost of living in a state where median home prices are twice the national average and rents are 30 percent higher.

Officially, a family of four with an income below $23,550 is considered to be in poverty, with the same figure applying throughout the country. But the report contends that New Jersey households remain poor until their incomes are at least double the official levels.

The poverty rate by the official measure stands at 10.4 percent, less than half the rate as defined by the institute.

While more people struggle to get by, the report cites major obstacles to reversing the trend, including continued high unemployment, wages that fail to keep up with inflation, a loss of middle-class jobs, a lack of low-priced housing and inadequate government aid for the poor. It notes that Superstorm Sandy made things worse by disproportionately damaging housing where lower-income households lived.

The findings reflect problems afflicting suburban areas throughout the New York City metropolitan area, said Christopher Jones, vice president of research for the Regional Plan Association, which advocates for economic development.

"Growing poverty in the suburbs is a major issue for the country as a whole and one that has been growing with increasing intensity over the last two decades in the New York region," Jones said. "It's a major concern for New Jersey's economy that's not going to go away just with increased growth in the economy."

The report, breaking down poverty by age, race, work status and other factors, said that in large measure, children and Hispanics bore the biggest brunt of increased poverty. NorthJersey.com

The Real State Of The Union Is Bleak

By James Kunstler

February 13, 2013 "Information Clearing House" - The fog of chatter about Federal Reserve money-printing shenanigans, currency wars, fiscal intransigence, exchange rates, and alphabetized rescue operations conceals the central reality of the historical moment: that all industrial economies now face epic contraction, even rip-roaring China in its absurd and spectacular bid to become the latest drive-in utopia.

The so-called advanced nations of the world are all sliding toward something less than they wish to be, and the so-called developing nations will backslide further into poverty and anarchy where development will never happen. The implacable contraction underway is the simple result of growing scarcity of cheap oil, the master resource.

Thus, in a world where fantasy has replaced analysis, the propaganda channels brim with false news of America's coming "energy independence" and the rebirth of domestic manufacturing, the coming electric car fleet, and space tourism.

There is also chatter among the paranoid that an imagined elite has deliberately engineered American collapse for fun and profit, with sideshows about the Department of Homeland Security promoting social upheaval in order to make a show of putting it down. This is all b.s. concealing the futile machinations of people so unfortunate as to hold political office in an unraveling they can't control. Where control is no longer possible, paranoid fantasies fill the vacuum of wishing for control.

One thing you can be sure of: the current sociopolitical weather will change. A front will blow through and sweep the fog away. So many circles of hazard are spinning around events that some fast-turning object will come off its axis and start smashing all the fantasies.

When that happens, it will be every community for itself, and where there are no real communities -- for instance, the vast matrix of suburban noplaces that America emergently composed itself out of in a tragic quest to become its own televised fantasy -- we'll discover the dark side of the "liberty" that so-called conservatives endlessly invoke, in all its screaming eagle iconography.

Not since the Civil War (1861 - 65) has anything bad of this scale happened within the United States itself and the public is unprepared despite our total immersion in the on-screen ersatz heroics of avatars such as Dwayne Johnson. The terrible convulsion of the 1860s was preceded by a political time much like ours is now, with figures (calling them leaders is inaccurate) of no conviction backpedaling furiously toward strife.

Remember these things if you tune in to watch President Obama move his lips on Tuesday amid the incessant applause in the House chamber. He'll speak the words "climate change" and the hall will rock with thunderous handclapping -- but it won't mean anything because both the president and the people have no intention of changing the way we live. Mr. Obama will cheerlead for economic growth and he will be talking out of his ass. It's the nature of this contraction that economic growth is absent.

Contd.

You can have plenty of economic activity -- especially if you re-form (literally) the systems we depend on, such as farming, commerce, medicine, and transportation -- but it won't be expressed favorably in the GDP stats or the balance sheets of CitiGroup and Morgan Stanley. At the core of this contraction is the disappearing act of real capital -- that is, accumulated wealth -- for the excellent reason that we are squandering what remains of it in the futile effort to keep living the way we do.

But it will be vanishing fast, contrary to the view of such fantasists as David Leonhardt, Washington bureau chief of The New York Times -- catch him on the current Slate Political Gabfest -- who thinks that the Growth Fairy is about to land on the south lawn of the White House.

The State of the Union Address is happening in a peculiar quiet moment when all the financial brushfires of the time have been reduced temporarily to a smolder that conceals the full involvement of the roots under the surface. Our economic system is burning down. Nobody wants to talk about the system that will have to replace it, which I call a world made by hand.

The fortunate few will be those who have already established themselves in an authentic community of helping hands, who have some tools -- and I don't mean Adobe Photoshop or the latest iPhone app -- and laid in some bits of silver and gold.
