God bless you, sweet reader, and may you have a long healthy life :-)

Maybe, I read something wrong, but Rodwell never lived in Basilan. He married a local gal on Mindanao mainland in the Christian territory. Upon release, the rebels conveniently renamed the ransom,“boarding and lodging” expenses. The innocent little wife, Miraflor (Grace) Gutang, did NOT sell or raise any money herself.

After Rodwell returned to Australia (without her), Ms Gutang kept the new house in Ipil, Mindanao and the cash that was in it.One can only guess she's back online searching for a new foreign "Joe". Hey, "Papa Joe" has a nice ring to it, as too does "Sugar Daddy".

No. Not working. Wonder if Warren will write a book or have a movie made. Would love to know the full story from his eyes.

The first has already happened. Warren collaborated with independent researcher, Dr Bob East, on the writing of his own biography "472 Days Captive of The Abu Sayyaf - The Survival of Australian Warren Rodwell". It seems that WR filled in all the day to day happenings of the abduction. You can read a FREE extract at the Cambridge Scholars Publishing site. If you have Kindle, the electronic version of the book is about $6.
You can also view various posts that Warren R Rodwell puts on his LinkedIn page. Additionally, there's about 50 videos (some kidnap, but mostly world travels) on the Warren Rodwell YouTube channel.
Listen to some radio interviews that Warren has already done, i) ABC National Radio Australia - Sunday Profile (serious) & ii) The Chris Brake Show - Indianapolis USA (stand up comedy).
There's been television interviews already done, i) Today Tonight - Channel 7 Australia (with Dave Richardson) & ii) The Today Show - Channel 9 Australia (with Lisa Wilkinson & Ben Fordham).
A movie could flow on from the book, but that is happening yet. There are possibilities that Warren Rodwell will be visiting the United States in the near future, but nothing confirmed yet.
Lastly, and you didn't hear it from me, there are rumours that Warren Rodwell has turned his hand to song writing with a long established Australian music identity. Can't say much more, except a few songs are being composed.
Google Warren Rodwell. There's plenty online. He is also in Wikipedia, and on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Looks like he is ready to get back out in the world pretty damn soon.
