I am well aware of geopolitical deception. Not everything is a conspiracy, but most things are not as they seem. Since the advent of agriculture man has conspired and has fought wars for power and land.

In the case of the usage of Nerve Agents against the rebels in Syria, it is more than likely true. Unfortunately in Syria, the sides are blurred, one hand is a dictator defending his powerbase, and the other is a rebel movement that is aligned with jihadists.

POTUS drew a line in the sand in reference to using chemical weapons, will he back it up?

Imho, I could care less about Assad and the Jihadists, but the people who are not apart of either are the ones bearing the brunt of the struggle are the ones I do care for.

Last time I checked, neither Syria nor any other country in Sandland is next door.

In fact, Chemical WMD Sarin gas attacks by suicide bombing terrorists of al Qaida and Hezbollah in Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Turkey and Iraq can set the entire Middle east and Northern Africa on fire while Obama is busy preparing for the 2014 election campaign and fighting the GOP. Obama is isolationist who acts like an Ostrich, closing his eyes to the danger to the American people with the proliferation of WMDs mounted on Scuds missiles that can hit America. Obama is the most incompetent commander in chief in US history who will never stand up to Putin and to the Iranian regime that are partners with the North Koreans and the Syrians in using nukes and WMDs warheads mounted on ballistic missile to attack America and its allies from air sea and land. The American people that were surprised about the failure of the CIA and FBI to deal with the treat to America from Jihadist terrorist such as the Boston Bombers should wake up to see that Obama represent naked and empty Emperor that will not do anything to protect America before America is attacked first by the Jihadist and communist regimes of Iran and North Korea. In fact, GOP Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham proved that they cannot influence Obama’s pacifist type policy of losers.

What some have failed to see is it was the POTUS who said there was a line. I also played advocate to the liberal mantra that we are a global community. The reaction is priceless to the ideals of the far left.

Obama hasn’t defined what would trigger more muscular U.S. action or how his administration may respond to conclusive evidence that Assad has used chemical or biological weapons.

Those are nothing in comparison to our govt/media's descent and reincarnation as a Stalin era editor of Pravda doublespeak.

The obfuscations and fabrications indulged in to rally our public to a war in Yugoslavia with no regard to our own congressional protocols, UNSC oversight or the Geneva Convention is what finally opened my eyes to our true romance with Goebellian doublespeak.

Just one example of many from that time:

(I remember well how Jimmy Rubin and Jamie Shea made these declarations practically every hour on the hour on CNN.)

The headline in the London Guardian [18 Aug. 2000] was really a bit of an understatement: "Serb killings 'exaggerated' by West." The subhead, however, underscored the enormity of the lie: "Claims of up to 100,000 ethnic Albanians massacred in Kosovo revised to under 3,000 as exhumations near end." Think of what this has to mean: Madeleine Albright, James Rubin, and Jamie Shea didn't pull this off single-handedly. Not only the US government, but the worldwide media fabricated a "genocide" and, on that basis, launched a savage war against a sovereign nation that had never attacked us, in the name of "humanitarianism".

And what were the 'news sources' for these revelations? The KLA, no less. Their reports were treated as gospel and repeated verbatim in the media.

No sir, no Rebel News Service for me, thank you. Fool me once, my fault, fool me twice - to hell with you.

Yet another egregious example of our love affair with the KLA News Service and our own Goebellian gobbledegook from that time:

Trepca - "the name will live alongside those of Belsen, Auschwitz and Treblinka," verily chortled The Daily Mirror, one of the unspeakable organs of the British yobbery. Giving the fib an aura of authenticity The New York Times claimed at the time that the residents on the edge of the mine reported an "unusual, pungent bittersweet smell, which they assumed to be burning bodies." The corpses were supposedly thrown down the shafts, or were disposed of entirely in the mine's huge vats of hydrochloric acid." But Richard Gwyn points out that such stories were given credibility at the very top of the regimes in Washington and London:

"That was six months ago, in the middle of the war undertaken to halt what both President Clinton and British Prime Minister Blair called "a human catastrophe."' Estimates of the number of ethnic Albanians slaughtered went upward from 10,000. U.S. Defence Secretary William Cohen put the count at 100,000."

On October 12, however, Kelly Moore - a spokeswoman for the Hague "war crimes tribunal" - was compelled to admit that the investigators had found "absolutely nothing" at Trepca. There were not 1,000 bodies down the mine shafts at Trepca, there were none at all; and the vats had never been used to dispose of human remains. Shortly afterward, says Gwyn, the tribunal reported on its work at the most infamous of all the mass graves of ethnic Albanians, at Ljubenic near the town of Pec. NATO officials had claimed that 350 victims had been hastily buried there by the retreating Serbs; five bodies were actually found. Gwyn's conclusions are terse and categorical: there was no genocide of ethnic Albanians by Serbs, no "human catastrophe" and no "modern-day Holocaust." We are dealing with "a grotesque lie concocted to justify a war that NATO originally assumed would be over in a day or two.

So, bottom line....the US powers that be can say anything they want about chemical weapons or anything else happening in Syria but in the rational world, precedents count and until they PROVE IT as one would in our own courts of law, don't bother rational citizens with speculations parading as fact. <rant off>

The Obamaniac will do NOTHING about this, because his "RED LINE" is all talk, and no action. He has NO CREDIBILITY WHATSOEVER, he's an empty suit, and NOBODY is afraid of him, nor believes anything he says.

He has ZERO credibility.

Now watch what North Korea does next. What have they got to fear ?!

Actually, no-fly zone is being organized as we speak for Syria.

Regardless of which side is responsible, if a chem weapon is used by either side we will step in.

A "no-fly" zone over Syria would probably be illegal. And what good would it do anyway ? It certainly would not stop the use of chemical weapons, or other WMD's delivered by artillery, or by means other than aircraft.

Apparently "NEVER AGAIN" actually means "Well, sometimes".

And whats that useless organization called the "U.N." doing ?! Wasn't the main purpose of the establishment of the U.N. to prevent this sort of thing ?
