What makes something a "World War"? Are we in "World War III" now? Were the previous World Wars only labelled as such AFTER the events passed, or did they call it, for instance, "World War II" when the Second World War was actually happening? For example, someone saying, "Man, I hope World War II ends soon so I can actually go to work and make some money and not have to drink sour milk with curds in it." Is this the Third World War? Because it appears that nearly every country is involved. At what point is it actually appropriate to label something as a "World War"?

Their calling Obama's bluff. He's been shooting off his big mouth, so now he either does something or we will nver be respected or fear'd again. He should have stayed out of it.

I know it wasn't a civil war. This one in Syria is. The point was, the reason given for not being involved then was it is a civil war. The same reason stands for a real civil war.
ummmm...you clearly just stated it was a civil war in Vietnam...

time for you to say goodnight...

So, now we're grooming 'Vietnam' in case Chinese labor gets too expensive.
And weren't we supposed to be stemming the Chinese red tide domino cascade in S. Vietnam? You know, the China that Vietnam fought a war with right after we left?
Funny how these things work out sometimes.
I don't know what you mean with "grooming". The Chinese did slap them around a little when they were involved with Cambodia.

That's exactly right. The war dogs have surrounded him, hoisted him by his own red line petard and backed him into a corner with no exit.

He finally decided, "I don't like this much. Better Assad than me."

The minute that he uttered 'red line', the wheels were put in motion to make sure a big, fat one was poured, so he would be sure to stumble over it.

Self-fulfilling prophesies are funny like that.

I know we trade with them. I don't know if any grooming is going on.

These people kill each other no matter what we do. All we can do is join in the carnage. Look at all the people who have died in iraq since we "liberated" them.

LOL, you mean someone is undercutting China and India?

I have bought clothing made there. There seems to be a number of products made there showing up on the shelves.

Who knows what will happen after we lob a few cruise missiles in there. Syria is threatening to attack Israel if an attack occurs. Hezbollah is fighting on Assad's side.

Yep. I'm tempted to look at the import/export stats but it's bedtime.

Look if you like. You'll have to set up a free account though.

Were going to start WW1 feel like we have to do something, because Obama has shot his big mouth off and tried to act tough.
