Sands died for nothing.

It wasn't such a good idea for him to try to re-enact the Famine, just because he was too cowardly to serve his prison sentence like a man.

I don't think you realise that the British arrested who they wanted,when they wanted and without reason therefore Bobby sands like so many others probably did not commit a crime at all

Internment without trial had to be introduced by the Heath government after the collapse of the Northern Ireland executive.

And?... What difference does that make? They still never gave him a fair trial therefore they never proved if he did it or not and further to this the British were notorious for interning innocent men who did nothing

Bobby sands was more of a man, then any of the British cowards who patrolled the Belfast streets.I feel sorry for the English born in north Ireland, you don't even know who you are, born in Ireland and call your self English,,,really?
