Hussein Obama figures the Chinese should know more about drone warfare too,
so he 'donated' them a few dozen.

In return, China sells us inferior products and contaminated food products.

"President Barack Obama on Thursday promised to be more forthcoming with the American public on his administration's campaign of lethal drone strikes amid criticism over the targeting of suspected U.S. terrorism suspects abroad."

This is all a part of the Presidential Reality Show. No substance, all rhetoric.

This administration which originally campaigned on transparency is one of the most secretive.

By their deeds you shall know them.

This is the latest from IL on the drones:

Best known for their use by the U.S. military in Afghanistan, one state senator says unmanned drone aircraft could soon be utilized to keep watch over Illinois. Democratic Senator Daniel Biss of Evanston says because drones could soon become a new age crime-fighting tool for Illinois law enforcement, he wants to regulate their use before they get here.

Biss tells the "Sun-Times" quote, "Now is the time to lay down appropriate privacy guidelines." Biss said because the technology is still emerging legislators have time to quote, "set a series of modest restrictions that will guard the privacy of all persons in Illinois."

I always thought the drones were military weapons not to be used for local crime fighting.

drones? not so much...
Benghazi? yes, we need to know more...we need to know if the Vegas fundraiser was more important than making an effort to save those Americans who died while obama took a nap on AF1

no no, they already have smaller versions used by law enforcement to watch the criminals. Gadsden Alabama has two drones and has had them since 2010, bought with a federal grant. A city of only 37,000. When asked about them the police chief said he really did not know why they had them.

This is scary, why would this capability be given to the states that could do more harm than good. Think how many AMERICANS could be destroyed by one drone. A DRONE is what I would consider an assault weapon. This is BIG BROTHER to SPY on all Americans.

Oblunder promised a more transparent government several years ago.

He didn't deliver on transparency then and he is NOT going to deliver it on the drone killing machine.

Just another bunch of idle rhetoric, saying things he knows people want to hear.

If he is going to use the drones on the projects, it would be like urban renewal........property values would rise.

Unfortunately, as far as the government is concerned, DRONING 'perceived' enemies outside our borders would not be much different than deciding to DRONE 'perceived' enemies INSIDE our borders.

Outrageous and VERY, very scary !!!

A state senator, eh? Wow! He must have a lot of pull on the DoD!!!

HAHAHAAHAHAH!

Drones have been watching the borders for years and there are going to be tens of thousands of drones- commercial, military and even private citizens within a couple years.

You should stop exposing yourself, we can follow you home now.

You got to know who is controlling the vocab and speech to know who is or isn't the true enemy. The MSM is making sure that good is evil and evil is good. I think you will find that in revelations.
