Good article.

But the article is clear, the clerics, mullahs and radicals run the govt. You see, Iranian people are good but they are oppressed as is Syria.

I think Iran can be a great friend to the world like Germany whom was at one time under a ruthless dictator similar to the current Iranian govt. If it was for the radicals, there would be no need for nukes in any part of the middle east, including Israel and the world would have no problem with an Iranian nuclear power program. But as things currently stand, Iran has blocked peace efforts by supporting Hamas and hurting the Palestinian people, not the military who uses the civilian population as human shields to gain press coverage. And Hamas, directly supported by Iran is now threatening to start a wider conflict, which Iran is pulling those strings at present.

While this article is fantastic, it really seems unattainable while the current regime in power. Not another shah, an Iranian citizen interested in getting Iran linked peacefully thru business and culture with all the world, not just Israel.

it seems that it will be rather cold relations, optimally if it would be neutral for instance just like people after divorce.

It is rather nasty, evil regime in Issrael, which ruins this whole region. Iran is peqaceful country absorbed with own businesses, they don't lead wars, they don't mix everywhere, they live a ccording to their values, peacefully and try to develop and modernize their country. Issraelis make problems for the whole world.
