1. Yes, one should wait and watch and see the result of fight between the forces of truth and falsehood.
2. It is your "misconception" that Islam does not gives "right" to women. In fact it was islam which gave women "rights". Before islam, women only had "duties" but no rights.
But now the Western world has taken top another extreme. First they debated whether women have any rights? Now they have gone to "another extreme" and started saying "Men and women are exactly equal to each other, so they both should have same rights".
This is an extreme position and unreasonable and illogical as the first position that women have no rights.
Islamic position is the middle path, al always. It says that men and women are made complimentary to each other and not as "direct competitors against each other".
Women have different duties and men have different duties and each have rights and responsibilities in their respective areas.
The western concept of women rights, puts double burden on them and destabilizes the family structure. In Islam it is the family which is basic unit of human civilization and men and women are one who constitute a family.
3. I advice you to focus less on Iran and its economy and worry more about your own economy. What Iran is suffering is the result of your country's biased attitude towards it. The same thing they did to Iraq and Libya before it.
04. The 'Universal calendar" provided by our Creator is the Lunar Calendar which is the basis of dates for Festivals in all societies of the world from time immemorial.
The so called "Scientific Solar Calendar" has taken so many twists and turns from its origin to its present shape, that it amazes if any one can call it "scientific".
But we follow both the Calendars, 1434 H for our religious dates and Ramadhan and Hajj and 2012 for dealings with other people.
We get "best of both worlds"!!
Do you have any children Muq? I'm sure your daughter would appreciate you telling her she cannot be all that she can be...that allah has different purposes for her...

Agreed with what you say about Iran...same as Iraq and Libya...do you see the same end results as those first two examples taking place in Iran? I do...

So the creator gave you your lunar calendar, eh? I'll be darned, well, I wonder who gave it to the chinese thousands of years before muslims began their exploitation of the world or centuries upon centuries before some desert wanderer created a myth of a moon splitting in half...how did the chinese get the original lunar calendar from the creator?

Socialist countries have no interests in war. War brings no superprofis for them, but is anything of value for a socialist system at all! Only peace is acceptable to them and is of everlasting value for the people.

The number of gun fatalities has declined in the past years but the number of people killed by firearms in the United States remains way high. To claim that gun ownership is declining is complete bunk look at the numbers! According to the FBI’s Uniform Crime Report, between 2006 and 2010 47,856 people were murdered in the U.S. by firearms, more than twice as many as were killed by all other means combined.
There are more than 130,000 federally licensed firearms dealers in the United States. Compare that with a 144,000 gas stations nation wide or 37,000 grocery stores – are you getting the picture here? The US has the highest gun ownership rate in the world – there are 89 guns for every 100 Americans, compared to 4 in UK and Canada. The murder figures are astounding; the Brits show around 550 murders per year. In 2011 there were 12,664 murders in the US, 8,583 were caused by firearms.
The ATF reports, last year there were 5,459,240 new firearms manufactured in the United States, nearly all (95 percent) for the U.S. market. An additional 3,252,404 firearms were imported to the United States. If you don’t have a criminal record and you have not been adjudicated as mentally incompetent, you can buy guns. In 2010 the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) ran 16,454,951 background checks for firearms purchases, only 0.48 percent) were denied.
I see you compare a country the size of New York with the entire USA...lets go apples with apples...New York has 10000 percent more guns in the hands of civilians than does Great Britian yet the nurder rate is lower...how do you rationalize that, francis? Or do you just continue to marginalize it to suit you?

550 murders in a country with 4 guns per 100, that seems quite high doesn't it? I mean in light of guns killing people and not people killing people...how is this possible?

Pay attention Mr. Brainfart, the number of guns is referenced to units of 100 people which makes the total size of a given country irrelevant

To only find comfort, and safety, in arms is very, very sad indeed. Ronald Reagan was pro-gun control because he feared the Black Panthers. The Ku Klux Klan was founded in order to seize guns from free blacks. I don't buy the notion of Second Amendment absolutists that individually-owned guns are the best defense against the imposition of tyrannical rule in America, if anything it’s comical, I think we're pretty safe from tyrannical rule. But if you were an African-American in 1870s or 1950s, you might have felt a lot safer with a gun. It is my belief that ‘qualified people’ have the right to bear arms, and that the government has the right and responsibility to regulate the sale and ‘the carry’ of guns. There seems to be no sense with the gun-crowed that the very presence of a gun – like all forms of power – alters its bearer’s state of mind, that the possession of a tool of lethal violence will invariably change how one interacts with the world. George Zimmerman, by his own telling, had he been unarmed he would have never stepped out his car.

Yes and No.

Capitalism is noble as long as it is honorable and fair.

Bill Clinton and the Republicans terminated Glass/Steagall which gave Wall Street a license to steal.

Crony Capitalism is the problem along with no fair/free markets, corporate welfare, tax loopholes that benefit the wealthy, government subsidies, extremely bloated waste and fraud at the Pentagon, tax havens, outsourcing, etc. et cetera.

Some of our worst presidents were Nixon to Obama and all in between.

There Is No Santa Claus and Bill Clinton Was Not an Economic Savior
December 26, 2012 / http://tinyurl.com/cgvjsg9
The truth is often painful but nonetheless it is important that we live in the real world. Just as little kids have to come to grips with the fact that there is no Santa Claus, it is necessary for millions of liberals, including many who think of themselves as highly knowledgeable about economic matters, to realize that President Clinton's policies sent the economy seriously off course. In Washington it is common to tout the budget surpluses of the Clinton years as some momentous achievement, as though the point of economic policy is to run budget surpluses. Of course the point of economic policy is to produce an economy that improves the lives of the people in a sustainable way. Clinton badly flunked this test.
The Clinton economy was driven by a stock bubble. This is not a debatable point. The ratio of market-wide stock prices to corporate earnings was well over 30 to 1 at the peak of the bubble in 2000. This is more than twice the historic average.
This run-up in stock prices drove the economy in two ways. First, since any good huckster could make millions selling shares in dot.whatever, we had many hucksters starting nutball businesses that never had a prayer of making a profit. This is not much of a long-run economic strategy, but in the short-term it led to an increase in investment.

Simple, the UK includes any kind of aggravated assault in their stats the US shows homicides only! NYC, for instance, has 40% more cops on the street, every day, than London!

Mr. Spock, what does movement from continents have to do with fish fossils found on the highest mountain tops.

They had to be under water at some point in history.

Are you suggesting that the mountains went up thousands of feet in the air against gravity?

The USA has the most guns of any nation worldwide, so if guns keep you safe, how come the USA ranks #1 in killings with guns?

I am pro gun BTW.
