Muslims made unwelcome as times toughen

The foot-tall, spray-painted letters appeared in January on a sign announcing the Murfreesboro mosque's new home. Read more

So why bother to post. A man that stands for NOTHING will FALL for ANYTHING. You're not "above the fray" as you are merely lost in the discussion. "Secular Humanist" means that you've stepped back so far you're not even in the fight. Go post on CNN or MSNBC.
Freedom of speech Chewie, Freedom of speech.
And your incorrect assumption of standing for nothing is borne from your lack of understanding.

All the hate mongering, finger pointing, and religious posturing over who's religion is the true one and whos is false has caused more human strife throughout history is the form of wars and killing than any virus or plague has ever caused.

Just rereading the posts in this topic is clear evidence of the intolerance.
But we do have Freedom of Religion in this country, but so many fail to adhere to this Freedom outside their own specific beliefs as they think it only pertains to them.

Lost in the Fray? Hardly, when it impacts everyone of any belief in lives lost, and Government spending of tax moneys we don't have to deal with these issues.

Destruction of property and suing the county, and public demonstrations because a mosque is being built, just smacks of religious intolerance.

Stepping back so far that I'm not even in the fight Chewie?
If that means I don't wish more lives to be lost over something I don't believe in, then you are quite incorrect.
This impacts everyone no matter what you believe or don't.
To think that it only impacts citizens that believe as you do is simply narrow minded.

But you have the Freedom of speech as well Chewie, try to use it wisely.

Your problem and glaring fault is that everything centers around you! Like Obama, your usage of personal pronouns betray any self proclaimed intelligence you thought you held. You're just another "Bravo Sierra" pseudo-intellectual liberal lemming spouting the "Larry King" highmindedness. You are FOS!

islam has conquered as much of the globe as they could just like christianity has done all throughout history.

Ilam is just mad they coldnt get everything that cristinas got too.

infiltration is part of the religous way. its why ALL religions are really political tools.

islam gets what it deserves. they arent innocent they intend to infiltrate plain and simple.

egypt was never islamic until they invaded it.
morrocco and algiers as well.

it cracks me up how they lay cliams to the origins of these countries and others. they are using a "manifest destiny" type argument centuries later.

pure brainwash like all religions.

As a devote American, I am sick of Muslims in our country. They do not assimilate to our way of life, they exude disgust, and discontent. The ones I have seen and been in contact with seem single minded and anything but tolerant of us (and they're in our country). This is absurd, and we need to start using our constitutional right and speak up!

Mohammad felt that he was possessed by a demon after being forced to "recite" in a cave. His contemporaries referred to him as a "poet" or one possessed by a demon. He seriously considered suicide and did some of his best work while having seizures. Mohammad did not write the Qur'an as he was illiterate and scribes wrote down what he supposedly said. Allah is a feminine celestial deity from the Babylonian ranks. Most of the teachings of Islam are plagerized from Jewish and Christian writings. May peas be upon Mohammad and Allah

I would not at all be surprised if President Obama publicly converts to Islam in a desperate attempt to bring peace to the Middle East.

It is sad to me that my fellow southerners still find a way to be prejudiced toward any who do not fit into their "mold"..I am a Christian and I know the Bible teaches me to love all of God's human creation..bar none.Sure,I have a right to disagree with behavior or beliefs but not to hate..Jesus came to seek and to save any who will believe in Him, but it is God Himself who gives man kind the freedom to choose!!we better remember that God is Love and he demands those who belong to His Family love without conditions..it is sad when those elected to govern all are spewing hate and setting terrible evil examples themselves!!any of you people in Tenn.or elsewhere who claim to be Christians are breaking the heart of God when you live with such hate and anomosity toward the Muslim people !Shame..Joyce/Florida/Alabama

We offered peace and they rejected it, now as God Jehovah instructs we must take the fight unto them without mercey.
We must burn them, their children, their wives, and their mosque, god will forgive you of these sins.

Oh, the regurgitated MSM talking point accusing Christians of killing tens of thousands. The point is so innocuous as to insult everyone who adheres to Christianity by those who are "CINO's" Christians in name only. The argument merely underscores the hypocrisy of the secular humanist. True the so called "Universal" or Catholic Church has chalked up untold thousands of death both of the just AND the unjust through the Crusades and the Spanish Inquisition under the pretense of doing "God's will." However, this is not of the teachings of Jesus to kill those who do not accept his teachings. It is however the teachings of Mohammad in his book of submission inappropriately referred to as the Holy Qur'an. If you contract and compare the Holy Scripture with the teachings of the Qur'an from an honest and legitimate reading and perspective, the teaching of the Qur'an merely plagiarize the Bible in areas Mohammad liked and justified his ends supporting his means. However, all of the deaths of both the righteous and unrighteous attributed to the Christian Church pales in comparison to the deaths directly attributed to the secular humanist man where he alone IS his own God.

So, you were finished? As a fan of an old corny detective show you should realize that my comments are "just the facts!, mam." You silly twit or is it as the blasphemous scorner Bill Maher calls it a "dumb twat?" Save your breath, you'll need it later to blow up your inflatable date.

Though it may look like it, my moniker has nothing to do with a TV show. But it doesn't take a detective to realize that once you lower yourself to 3rd grade name-calling, you've lost all standing in the debate.

State Senator Bill Ketron is leading the way with UNCONSTITUTIONAL legislation to stir the GOP base as a 'wedge issue' for the 2012 Election. He wants the elderly, the far right, and those with limited exposure to the media (i.e. people who are not intellectually savvy enough to read between the lines) to go to the polls out of fear. He joins Michelle "home school' Bachmann, Sarah from Alaska, and other nut jobs who have a lack of political, historical, international or intellectual understanding. I doubt many of the aforementioned or their followers could pass a simple geography or geopolitical test from a college freshman class.
