Tip of the iceberg, we also learnt about detained girls and women being used as sex slaves by the Shabiha thugs, people detained in dungeons so small that they sleep standing, other being fed stale bread, while others being systematically starved to death, All hallmarks of cruel regimes from Cambodia to Uganda. The Shabiha knows it well that there are the ones to be in jail.

Their uncle was married to the daughter of a major CIA figure.

What are the odds that the uncle was CIA himself, a recruited member in good standing of the CIA's Chechen Desk?

Just another episode of blowback. It happens so often it's not mainstream news worthy anymore, It's almost the jihadi version of 'dog bites man'.

I glimpsed it, this morning. Surrounded by throngs of cheering rebels on a hillside if that's the one. The ones receiving our lethal aid, undoubtedly. Anyone who supports these animals deserves the same treatment.

It's called hypocrisy, born of self-righteousness.

A perfect mate to the depraved behavior they support.

curiously AI opposes investigation into its... foreign government funding!

It also illegally refused to register as a Foreign Agent (funded) NGO in Russa!
(if they are wondering which governments are funding them, they include the USA State Department and the UK)

"In March this year, prosecutors and the Justice Ministry launched a major inspection all over the country checking if the new law was duly observed. The inspection caused another outcry from activists and also some foreign governments, and resulted in uncovering several cases in which the law was violated. "

" Seven groups, including Russian branches of

Amnesty International,

Human Rights Watch and

Transparency International,

filed complaints to court saying that the prosecutors’ actions were illegal. On Friday, the judge in a district court in Moscow adjourned the hearings into the first such case – started by veteran Russian Human Rights NGO Memorial – after prosecutors asked for more time to prepare their case.

Earlier the official spokesperson of the Prosecutor General’s Office told the press that the nationwide inspections were in her agency’s year plan and added that the objective of the checks was not only to punish those who fail to observe the law...."
