Killings and Massacres didn't start until Russia's new Hitler protégé Putin, began sending alcoholic, drug addicted, ex con mercenaries to Ukraine. The blood is on Putins hands. Take him to the Hague.

The only elements committing crimes against humanity anywhere in Ukraine are the forces now put back into action against civilians by the illegal government in Kiev (brought about by an illegal, violent coup and criminal sniping of random people in the streets to create havoc.) It is Kiev's forces using heavy artillery and tanks to shell civilians, hospitals and schools. The elements in Eastern Ukraine unwilling to bow to the neo-Nazi elements in Kiev don't have such artillery, etc. The Kiev government, funded by a US/NATO/Soros conspiracy are the ones committing the vast majority of crimes and have been the ones doing it with advice from criminal Western elements intent on enslaving the people of Europe with increased energy costs.

Don't know about Soros' input or the energy enslavement bit but the rest is 100% accurate.

The Kiev regime and its backers are bona fide war criminals now.

"Independent Western scholars have documented the fascist origins, contemporary ideology and declarative symbols of Svoboda and its fellow-traveling Right Sector. Both movements glorify Ukraine’s murderous Nazi collaborators in World War II as inspirational ancestors. Both, to quote Svoboda’s leader Oleh Tyahnybok, call for an ethnically pure nation purged of the “Moscow-Jewish mafia” and “other scum,” including homosexuals, feminists and political leftists. And both hailed the Odessa massacre. According to the website of Right Sector leader Dmytro Yarosh, it was “another bright day in our national history.” A Svoboda parliamentary deputy added,“Bravo, Odessa…. Let the Devils burn in hell.” If more evidence is needed, in December 2012, the European Parliament decried Svoboda’s “racist, anti-Semitic and xenophobic views [that] go against the EU’s fundamental values and principles.” In 2013, the World Jewish Congress denounced Svoboda as “neo-Nazi.” Still worse, observers agree that Right Sector is even more extremist."

This from the linked "Nation" article. While the Communist Rag nature of "Nation" cannot be dismissed, this particular article is very well established and supported by any honest observer.

STOP calling those terrorizing Eastern Ukraine and occupying Crimea "separatists" . They are nothing of the sort. They are INVADERS and must be called what they are and treated as such. Calling them separatists supports the mythology that there is a true internal Ukrainian constituency that wants to split the country. That is simply false. Before Putin stuck his nose into Ukraine, there was no problem between Ukrainian Russian speaking citizens and Ukraine !!! Ukrainian Russian citizens are allowed to speak Russian, and even allowed to send their children to Russian schools, unlike in Crimea, where there are no more Ukrainian schools. Who the hell does Putin think he is? Just coming into a different country and sticking his stinky nose and creating all of the problems in Ukraine himself. He is so shit and scarred now that Ukraine has said enough of him. Slava Ukraini !!!

Screw off, terrorist war criminal hiding in Montreal.

If the Kiev junta had followed Toronto's path to addressing Quebec's aspirations in the 70's, there would be no civil war.

In fact, had Kiev followed simple democratic procedures and not its basic instinct to grab power at any cost, there would be no civil war.

Instead, they chose the fascist path to self-destruction.

Peddle your fascist nationalist crap elsewhere.

I can't believe how stupid this Ukrainian diaspora has to be to swallow the crap passed off as nationalism. These are the philosophies of rabid dogs, strayed from civilization.

The moral bankruptcy of degenerates posing as patriotism. What a joke.

Little wonder that economic bankruptcy and civil war followed in its path.

What I understand is that self-avowed neo-nazi fanatics steered the demonstrations in Kiev into a violent coup, the East saw the writing on the wall and demanded greater autonomy and were instead met with attacks and ultimatums for surrender instead of honest dialogue. In disgust and desperation, they held referendums on their future. Of course they're fighting back, as anyone would.

Your transparent attempts to blame everything on Russia are pathetic indeed.

The tragic reality for East Ukraine is that a fanatical fascist army from its West bolstered by politically naive conscripts is invading it and the East is standing against their onslaught with dignity and honor, two traits sorely lacking in Kiev.
Ils se souviendront, mon ami. They will never forget!

Ukraine will never be united again, and you only have yourselves to blame for it.

An army of scum:

According to eyewitness reports from Eastern Ukraine, the Ukrainian army is responsible for cruel and violent actions against rebels as well as civilians. This is not surprising when we take into account the number of right-wing radicals being enrolled into the army units. A number of notorious Ukrainian Army batallions made up of volunteers are known for punitive actions against East Ukraine population, such as the Dnepr, Ukraina, Azov militias. The founder of the latter two units is Ukrainian congressman Oleg Liashko, the leader of Radical Party and uncompromising adversary of Eastern Ukraine rebels.

According to Liashko, half of the Azov fighters are former convicts. Liashko said that it’s better to deal with convicts who are ready to fight than with policemen who refuse to shoot at Ukrainians. The other half are members of Ukrainian ultranationalistic organizations. The members of the other battalions are no better.

Such a high concentration of radical and criminal volunteers in the Ukrainian army is the cause of numerous acts of marauding and killings of civilians in Eastern Ukraine. To set such volunteers as the example of Ukrainian “patriotism” is unacceptable because it makes the radicals out to be the only kind of Ukrainian patriots. There are not very many countries in the world where the sympathizers of neo-Nazi movements are massively present in government authority bodies, and Ukraine is one of them. Almost all leading political parties currently in the parliament – Vitaly Klichko`s Udar party, Yulia Timoshenko`s Batkiwshchina party, Oleg Tiagnibok`s Svoboda party – support the idea that during the Second World War, the pro-Nazi regiments of Bandera and Shukhevich fought for freedom and rights of Ukrainians. These are the people who will rule Ukraine during the next five years.

That poster is not a fascist and nor is any other poster defending Ukraine's position on here. If terrorists and mercenaries invaded part of Russia and declared independence what do you think Putin would do?

1) Sit back and do nothing?
2) Bomb them into oblivion?

Here's a clue, it isn't 1).

Your 'terrorists' and 'mercenaries' are run of the mill citizens of Ukraine who had their voice and dignity and honor and now their right to live stripped from them by a disgusting assemblage of fascist coup plotters in Kiev with no interest in anything other than either driving them from their ancestral homes into Russia or exterminating them.

Sound familiar, Adolf?

My personal peeve is with the blatant and criminal hypocrisy within our own American government which, had the Easterners been singing overtures to the US instead of Kiev, our media would long ago have launched an incessant campaign of coverage of atrocities perpetrated against the East, real or imagined, and Washington would long ago have launched air strikes on Kiev.
