is a certified American hero in my book
Here's one: The U.S. Navy lawyer who challenged the Bush administration's efforts to try terrorism suspects at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, walked a professional tightrope between fellow officers trying to gain speedy convictions and what he considered a moral imperative to buck the chain of command and vigorously defend his client.

Us Ticonderoga 1960-1969 CIdebriefing vessle and aircraft carrier, Airforce was hired body guards for deployment search and rescue operations
My Father was deployed 4 terms (8 Years) most men saw 2 mos; prior to court martial, or 2 year terms and quit. They were stripped status for raping minor navay personal on board vessle and discharged dishonorably. Also shot out a missle launcher over 500 yards as well.
Problem all those discharged off the 2 year term was sitting at a NAVY REUNION for Ticonderoga in San Diego California, Dad was in his 2 week medical exams and they downloaded diagnositcs from his micro-chip and debriefed all the Vetran discharged retirees of his full term COMPLETE dismemberment of human rights and confidentiality, he got in the supper hall and watched the end of the diagnostic like a movie on a big screen TV
Military permitted full viewage of his top secret micro-chip from service time and family personal bathing/sex rituals.
He has yet to have a Attorney pick up his case, US AIRFORCE followed him aroudn Wisc for years trying to get any leads for their service men in airforce onboard vessle as well for their lawsuit. No way a local dr can fix the damage, I indicated a VIcadin and valuim inbetween reunions would suffice, if you incorporate shock blast victim therapy without the burn segment as scene on PBS debriefs.
