Irish Home Rule meant a devolved parliament in Dublin with limited powers. Scotland has a devolved parliament with limited powers. More powers than the Irish Home Rule parliament would've had mind you.
George V was willing to see Home Rule happen for the great good of the union. despite his personal feelings on the matter.
Then WW1 would have had spread to Ireland.
Home Rule, or "devo max", will never be offered to Scotland by any party.

George V should have vetoed the bill on 18th September 1914.

Not if the UK had remained neutral it wouldn't.

You appear to have a limited knowledge of what Home Rule actually means.
The House of Commons voted in favour of Irish Home Rule on three separate occasions.
I'm so glad Home Rule was blocked in 1886, 1893 and 1914.

And in January last year for Scotland!

Home Rule for Ireland in 1912 offered less than ''devo max''.

That would have caused a parliamentary crisis.

The UK should have remained in ''spendid isolation''.

George V should have vetoed the bill as it was certain to cause a fullscale civil war in Ulster which the British army would not deal with.

Forming alliances with the Empire of Japan, France and Russia was a terrible mistake as it made Germany feel boxed in.

It has happened elsewhere within the UK.
You're wrong. The Commons supported it, the British Government supported it, the King came around to supporting it, nullifying the Lords veto. The conservative party helped the traitorous UVF get weapons from Imperial Germany in 1914 despite the horrid relations between Britain and Germany.
The UVF scum ensured home rule never happened and lost 33% of Ulsters territory forever to Republicans in the aftermath of the Irish War of Independence.
So glad Enda Kenny was the President of the UK this year (rolls eyes).
Actually Home Rule has never happened in the UK, ever.

The UVF blocked Home Rule.
The UVF lost 33% of Ulster's territory to Republicans forever in 1922.
When you're part of a political union, you don't get to decide to give yourself a parliament when the other parts of the union do not have a parliament.

Home Rule was a stupid concept and it could never happen.

Once Scotland votes for Alex Salmond's fake "independence" in the EU then England will drop Wales and Northern Ireland instantly!
